I love life and GOD has blessed me in so many ways but sometimes i wish that he would just end humanity and we could all go to heaven. Honestly, if i was given the choice and i knew my husband and kids were going with me I would say yes. There's just so many bad things going on in the world (war, disease, murder, etc).

I wanted to add that I think differently when i think of the lost souls (some who are in my family) that are not saved and I cry and say LORD please be with them and help them find their way.

Those who are sighing and grieving over this wicked system of things can have hope very soon. The Bible promises that Jesus will establish a heavenly government ruled by him and will end all the wickedness and suffering that is going on right now on this earth. You pray the "Lord's Prayer" no doubt. What are you praying for? Isn't it that his will be done on earth...as it is in heaven? That's why Jesus said when you see all these events happening world wide then know that you deliverance is getting near. It's nothing to fear. It's GOOD NEWS! (Luke 21)(Matthew 24) Then after Jehovah and his son Jesus destroy the wicked and Satan in his great war of Armageddon, then the earth will rightly be put back into a paradise state. You will live forever on a peaceful earth with good and righteous people who will willingly obey God and you will never grow old or die. I hope this Bible message of God's kingdom will make you feel better about the anxieties we face now. (Psalm 37:10,11,28,29) You can see from these scriptures that mankind is not destined for heaven but for the earth.

No, as we have seen from seeing so many religions that its all fake. Christianity being one of the later religions too. These are just age old superstitions which we for some reason belive. Humans make up any old rubbish for people to listen to them or to direct people, its all a lie and people need to start realising this and get on with their lives. Why worship a god that cant be proven real when developing science obviously proves greater and family life, friendship and love is all more important than something that isnt real! There will be an end day but we will be long gone.

Since time began there's always been problems in the world. Go back to any time in history and you will see the same things then. Its the same for everybody but you just have to get on with it.

Its not all bad so concentrate on making life here good for yourself and your family, and not just focusing on all the bad things that's happening. We could all do that and be depressed all the time. Remember there's always people worse off than yourself. Life's too short so make the best of it.

Mankind has it's time for matters.
God has His time for matters.
It's not for us to know or question.

Back when I was beginning to go thru my divorce, I was overwhelmed by the stress that I was facing. I remember saying to God "Oh, I wish it were 6 months from now!".

Six months later, I was in the worst mental and emotional state I had ever been in my entire life. I was deeply depressed and finally had to relent to taking medication. Events occurred that I had no way knowing were going to come about, and what I had been facing the 6 months prior was a "cakewalk". I finally snapped out of it, but it was worth it because I was drawn closer to God.

So now, I do not question what is occurring now, speculate on what is to happen in the future, "wish" for another time or place.

I leave it ALL in God's hands, because He is my Heavenly Father, and like any good daddy, He will take care of things, I need not worry. Let God do your worrying.

If He chooses to end the world tomorrow...or tonight, well, thats what He knows is best. I hope that I can live a little longer personally........yes, I know the world has sickness, war, etc...and some of that is brought on by those "stupid" people yet some of it (like sickness) we cant help.
Be thankful for everything you have now and continue on with your Christian life...God will bring you home shortly

Yes my born again Christian - self does wish that at times....but look around you...How many people out there do you desire to see saved first...Don't you also pray that God save all He can before it is too late for them....when I look at some of my neighbors and others that are still wandering around lost I ask God for 'just one more day' so we as believers can bring 'just one more to Jesus' before it is too late...my heart and soul cries out every day for people who is too hard-hearted and stiff-necked to come to the knowledge of God...

Almost. Almost.
His will be done.
The time is short and there is yet so many to reach.

Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

No time to rest, yet.
A great big hug at ya.....
God bless. :>

why would he?

humanity is att a very adolescent stage; if you were a parental deity figure, why would you end things without seeing if junior had the cajones to grow up and take responsibility for his/her deeds?

Yes, we've made a mess of the world. All the more reason to work together and clean it up.

No offense, but expecting divine intervention seems to me like seeking to escape our collective responsibilities.

Time to take your medicine. I'm certain it will help you regain your composure. There's nothing going on now that hasn't hit the world before. Find some reason to get yourself up tomorrow and find some pleasure to grasp onto. And never, EVER offer anyone Kool-Aid.
