Psalms 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

when i was made godfather to my younger cousin 15 years ago, i was in fact a practicing satanist. i did mention this to my auntie and uncle at the time but i dont think they were listening. when asked during the christening ceremony if i renounced satan i replied no but the minister just carried on. does this in any way compromise my position as godfather?

do some people get just enough of the christian germ to be inoculated so they never really catch the disease. If one is only inoculated should they be told left alone to "not grow" which is a sure sign that they were just inoculated.
sorry bout the gross analogy but how else to explain shortly??? An old preacher gave me this analogy 30 years ago and in my walk I see what he was saying, but what to do??

Have you ever spoken and wished that you could immediately take the words back or that you could crawl into a hole ?
Here are the testimonials of
a few people who did...
*I walked into a hair salon with my husband and three kids in tow and asked loudly, "How much do you charge for a shampoo and a blowj*b?" I turned around and walked back out and never went back. My husband didn't say a word.
He knew better.
*I was at the golf store comparing different kinds of golf balls. I was unhappy with the women's type I had been using. After browsing for several minutes, I was approached by one of the good- looking gentlemen who works at the store. He asked if he could help me. Without thinking, I looked at him and said, "I think I like playing with men's balls."
*My sister and I were at the mall and passed by a store that sold a variety of candy and nuts. As we were looking at the display case, the boy behind the counter asked if we needed any help. I replied, "No, I'm just looking at your nuts." My sister started to laugh hysterically, the boy grinned, and I turned beet-red and walked away. To this day, my sister has never let me forget .
*Have you ever asked your child a question too many times? My three-year-old son had a lot of problems with potty training and I was on him constantly. One day we stopped at Taco Bell for a quick lunch in between errands. It was very busy, with a full dining room. While enjoying my taco, I smelled something funny, so of course I checked my seven-month-old daughter, and she was clean. Then I realized that Danny had not asked to go potty in a while, so I asked him if he needed to go, and he said, "No." I kept thinking, "Oh Lord, that child has had an accident, and I don't have any clothes with me." Then I said, "Dan! my, are you SURE you didn't have an accident?" "No," he replied. I just KNEW that he must have had an accident, because the smell was getting worse. Soooooo, I asked one more time, "Danny, ! did you have an accident?" This time he jumped up, yanked down his pants, bent over and spread his cheeks and yelled. "SEE MOM, IT'S JUST FARTS!!" While 30 people nearly choked to death on their tacos laughing, he calmly pulled up his pants and sat down. An old couple made me feel better by thanking me for the best laugh they'd ever had!
*This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for 2 days and a very embarrassed female news anchor who will, in the future, likely think before she speaks. What happens when you predict snow but don't get any? A true story. We had a female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked: "So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?" Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too!
While on a flight from New York, the Stewardess was busy passing out peanuts and cokes to everyone. There were about sixteen flights lined up waiting to get clearance to take off. Then the other Stewardess got a message from the Pilot that the tower said the wind had changed 180 degrees and they were first in line to take off, and to have everyone buckle up. Without thinking she just announced "Please buckle up, grab your drinks and hold your nuts, we're taking off", No one saw her for the rest of the flight to Houston, and all the other Stewardesses were laughing all the way and half of the passengers.
Now, didn't that feel good ?
Pass it on to someone you know who needs a good laugh.

My psychiatrist says I am chronically prejudice. I have a hard time being around white, asian, black, and hispanic people. At night I fantasize about wearing a white pointed sheet with two holes cut out for the eyes over my head. During the day I spit in my bosses coffee when he's not looking. I think I have repressed memories... I need help. Please, I don't really want to be this way. What should I do?

As to what end to we continue to punish and yet support religous freedom? At what point does this cycle stop and common sense prevail?

Is this a form of Obsesive Compulsive Disorder? Can they not help themselves?
Or
Do you think that religion just attracts close minded people?
I have read the King James version from start to finish, and I dont recall anywhere in the Bible it saying that God needs/wants man/woman to sit in judgment of others. In fact the bible I read says over and over again for man/woman to love one and other as Christ loves us.
By the way, I have read the books of other religions, and I think this is a common thread in all of them. Why cant people be kind to one and other?

Out of the mouth of babes..........

"WHERE GOD AIN'T"

He was just a little boy, on a week's first day.
He was wandering home from Sunday School, and dawdling on the way.

He scuffed his shoes into the grass; he found a caterpillar.
He found a fluffy milkweed pod, and blew out all the "filler."

A bird's nest in a tree overhead, so wisely placed on high.
Was just another wonder that caught his eager eye.

A neighbor watched his zig zag course, and hailed him from the lawn;
Asked him where he'd been that day and what was going on.

"I've been to Bible School," he said and turned a piece of sod.
He picked up a wiggly worm replying, "I've learned a lot of God."

"M'm very fine way," the neighbor said, "for a boy to spend his time."
"If you'll tell me where God is, I'll give you a brand new dime."

Quick as a flash the answer came! Nor were his accents faint.
"I'll give you a dollar, Mister, if you can tell me where God ain't."

But bring up something cheesy like porno or gossip about a star, or the latest diet pill everyone is all ears??? Try to talk about truth and right living or a way to overcome a bad habit and the only one who listens is the one who is desperate. Maybe their spouse or child died, or they found out they themselves are dying. Suddenly all the garbage talk doesn't matter, they are seeking truth and goodness. Suddenly they are all ears for righteousness and the way to deliverance or whatever the case may be. They stand alone in the crowd of lusters and debaucherous gatherings where only gossip and the newest addition to their materialistic lives is top priority. WHY does it take a rude awakening to get fools to stop being fools!?

I asked a question about who might want to know the way to the Living God and the answers were sadly worldly and sick. In my disgust for your glee and pride, all I can say is... God bless you.

I know not whether there is a heaven, hell, god, etc. I am an agnostic. I see so many people living in their own little world that if they behave well in life they will go to heaven. It seems to me you should have to try and benefit mankind to gain access to heaven. I don't mean stop world hunger. But do your best to help your fellow man. Yet time and time I see people look away from the worlds problems in a cloud of content.

Do you hold your hands palm up waiting to see if it does return and litely squeeze it just gently enough?

In a world so full of hate and divisiveness, why is it that there are so many people out there who are ready to trash people who worship the same god, simply because they disagree on one or two points of dogma? And Christians besides! Jesus said turn the other cheek and love thy neighbor - unless he is protestant and you are catholic? I see this type of division in a variety of faiths...What is wrong with people?

... our leaders are persuing.

In my opinion, our leaders are deliberately targeting muslims and using them as scapegoats for all that is going wrong in society. Does the word 'crusade' fit in with that opinion?

I think that the leaders just want to keep us frightned as their predicessors did during the cold war and now that they can't use russia as the enemy, they are using muslims as a convenient target that fits in with their religious beliefs.
