Some of us will learn from our mistakes, and some of us won't.
Hoping the best for you...

We don't know specifically what will take place;however, we know the world will get worse and worse just before the return of Christ. "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them" (2nd Timothy 3:5-6). We see this happening every day.
The return of Christ could be near. Jesus Himself warned us against speculating about the timing of His return or claiming we know when it will take place. He said, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father" (Matthew 24:36).
But Jesus did tell us certain events must take place before He returns, and these will be like signposts pointing to His coming. For example, He told us that He would not come again until the whole world has had an opportunity to hear the Gospel: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14). Certainly we see this happening today through television, radio, publications and the Internet.
Jesus also told us that we would see an outburst of evil on an unprecedented scale before He comes again, as Satan lets loose his fury in a final effort to defeat God's plan: "When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come" (Mark 13:7). Can anyone read the headlines today and doubt the reality of Satan's power?
No, we don't know when Christ will come again—but we don't need to know! Our responsibility is still the same: to love Him and live for Him with all our strength. Is this your goal?

If things continue at the present pace...War! More dying and suffering. The end of life as we know it! All in the name of Peace, backed by Allah according to some! Lets not forget about that north Korean guy with the Napoleon complex that's been giving the US the finger while building up their military strength and testing nuclear weapons. While our homegrown heroes are out running around the dessert chasing shadows. Peace2U&us all!

It depends on what exactly you want. For example if the life will end and how. And I believe if the people's lives in this world is going to end within these 15 years or more, my answer will be that everyone will drown in each others blood until theirs not a human left in site. Its a good question, but there is so many things to be said on so many subects.

I don't know, but I think there will be many technological advances. Medicine, electronics, vehicles, power sources, computers, and more, will all advance to new highs. But I fear that mankind will go the wrong way as far as war, ethics, accountability, honesty, and respect go. I fear religion and commandment abiding will be on the down swing. We will see more devastation such as natural disasters, terrorism, bias, dirty politics, etc. I think we are coming closer to the end not just because of the passing of time but because of the ways of the world.

I hope, God willing, that I will still be alive!! I have an 8 1/2 month old grandson and hopefully I will have more grandchildren!!! In 15 years my husband and I will celebrate our 43rd anniversary!!! I also hope that he will be healthy, there's Alzheimer's in his family. I also hope and pray that we won't have to worry about terrorism and in a "perfect" world everyone will love each other and get along!! And I mean everyone!!

for America...i predict even more people will get sucked into the "I'm going to be raptured into heaven at any moment!" thing.
(40 percent already believe this)
... but, Americans will get bored that within a decade or so, and move on to a new fantasy.
I'm American, BTW, so i can say this stuff O_o
----------------
OH!... and i also predict Americans will keep getting stupider and stupider (if its possible to get any stupider)
.

I'm hoping for the collapse of evangelical fundamentalism as it's collapsed everywhere else, myself.
But it'll prolly be a few more generations before the USA moves past that lie. :(
