Truth has no patience ! As you age, you will find that people are self serving! They want to be accepted and approved of, by one another; therefore, people tend to be seekers of things they want to feel, see , hear, touch, and taste - things which may or may not be "good" for them. All humans born are sensual by nature and desire things that cater to their sensuality. So; you are a fool for Jesus are you? This is the price you pay now, for being a follower of God. God is not popular with sensual centered people. The glitter of this world a.k.a. beauty - bucks - brains are the things people seek after. Only in a affluent society as this, can people have this self centered approach to life. If you think it is bad out there now - just wait a few more years !!!

The anger should not be a surprise. Mocking, taunts, jeers shouldn't either. Never the less, sometimes it hurts and makes you want to give up. But remember, you are not in this fight alone. Far from it. Also, the bible talks directly to this issue. One thing is clear, mockers and scoffers ought to be left alone, unless God directly leads you to someone. Even some of the responses you get here won't be nice. They don't know or care to know Him. But when they recognize a need,- every human being does at some time- be ready. In season and out. May God bless you and keep you.

It may be your opinion that something might be helpful, but that opinion may well not be shared by others, particularly if it impacts their religious beliefs (or lack thereof). I have a friend who smokes; can I get him to quit? Not bloody likely. I know a lot of people who think that there is some truth in religion; can the mere fact that I can prove the contrary affect their views? Even less likely. And that is just the nature of the human condition.

I don't know what was originally said but I will answer your question.
Jesus said, if you earnestly seek me, you will find me.
You only need to believe that Jesus (the Son of God) came to earth as a man and died on the cross for your sins; he arose on the third day and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
I would recommend reading the book of John in the New Testament...then Acts, Romans and then Matthew, Mark and Luke.
I pray you will find the grace of the living God and His Son Jesus.

Hah!
There's a huge difference between "I can cure cancer," and, "I know the one and only true god!"
One is relevent to the lives of all people, and the other is full of superstitious crap.
Here's a healthy dose of reality: your beliefs can not help other people. They're detrimental to the survival of humankind as a whole, and very disruptive to individual education.
If you don't want angry replies, then don't evangelize your religion.

If you want to lead me to the Living God, you have but prove to me he exists -- without using the Bible, because there are errors in it.
Would you like to try?
I'll even tell you what proof I will accept, and it's even biblical -- I will believe in Jesus when I place my finger through the holes in his hands and my hand in his side.
Can you arrange that for me? I'd like it a great deal, if indeed there is a loving god who wants us all to believe in him.

because not everyone follows your specific beliefs.
me for instance. i am an ordained minister of my chosen religion.
and that religion is not the same as yours. so if you phrase your question in a way that makes me think or believe that you are looking only for desperate people that will listen to anyone on a soapbox. then why should i even bother to listen to you?

It seem that anyone who tries to help anyone get the axe. Look at Jesus, just wanted to love and help people so they crucified Him.
