I realize that this is a very general question but I am Christian who has been very sheltered from other religions and am searching for a truth that feels right for me. I am curious to know what you feel is important about your religion.

Can we all agree that their is some energy that powers this existence? Whether you feel you know what it is or not, can we all agree on that much?

There are many spells that involve burrying something, but I live in an apartment. I can't burry my stuff in the tree dirt because the managers live right across from them. There's a spell I want to do really badly but it involves burrying a potato (don't ask) under the full moon so I'm completely stuck here. (I'm also a teenager with no car and the park is really far away plus my parents would be suspicous of me leaving late at night with a shovel, plus I don't want a bunch of people watching me while I'm trying to concentrate) Info plz!

Is it because in the bible Jesus says " His Father" meaning God. They should know that Jesus is eternal meaning he couldnt have been created meaning he is God. The bible says that all powers on heaven and on earth were given to him ( Jesus). Believe or not Jesus is God. If you are a christian you know about the trinity and know that God is one on three. Jesus proved to be God because he did things that no man could do, like rise from the dead, which is absolutely awesome. Jesus was never created. God bless.

I have (just for a change) listened to, "Jessie Duplantis Ministries". Well what a crock of cr_ap that was. This woman & her ilk cause a lot of misery & shame in todays world. She is a psychologists worst nightmare. She is one of the Christian Teliban that causes the great divide between our societies.

If the Bible is 'god's word', then you must obey it - not just half of it, right?
And if half of it is to be relegated to the trash bin, then why on Earth not the whole thing?
WHERE is the logic in this?????

In General of course. I am curious to know does the Buddist belief recognize one god or "force" as the highest power or as a higher power than other 'gods'? for example nature being the life giving force. is this the same force that brings death? i know absolutely nothing about this particular religion so anything you want to tell me is good.

At the beginning of the John in the New Testament, the Jews are asking John who he is.

“And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No."
King James Bible John 1:19-21

After asking about the Christ and Elias, they then ask about "that prophet". It can't be Christ or Elias since they just asked about them - who else could it be?

This question is strictly for religious Christian folk. It doesn't really apply to anyone else.

Consider this hypothetical situation: You die from a freak accident of some sort. After you die, you find out that you were right; heaven does exist and you've been welcomed in. After asking some questions up there, you learn that it's true that one must accept Jesus to be allowed into heaven. You have a lot of friends from various faiths and others who are atheists. All of them are good people, but apparently they're all going to hell. Would you try to do anything about it? Would you ask God why he required people to believe in him? Would you stand up for your friends if you didn't believe it was right for them to be thus condemned? And if not, would you be able to live eternally knowing your friends are in hell?

Do you think your name shapes your personality. Even if you don't know the meaning of your name, your parents can still send you the message uncousciously. What do you think? It the name more powerful then we realize? I think yes and no. I don't really have an opinion. Just wondering if I had a chance to be like the women I was named after... Thanks

Do you realize that Christ loves each one of you? Yep, it's true. The bible says that Christ wants a relationship with you no matter who you are or what you have done in the past. He is waiting on you to want to know Him and live for Him. If you would like to know more I will be happy to share.

I had a friend that was in a near death experience, so to speak, or actually in a death experience. He had drowned and was pulled out of the water by his brother. Lying in a fetal position with his tounge stuck out, colorless...and nevertheless, lifeless. His brother began CPR while the ambulance were on their way. His heart had stopped and literally, he was dead. But while in the moment of, he heard two voices which were believed to be his conscience and/or the voice of God and Satan. He said one voice (which he thought was the bad one) was telling him to lie down and everything will be alright. While another voice was saying, "Something isn't right here!" (believed to be the good voice). So my question is, was this the voice of God and Satan, or was this his conscience? If it were the voices of God and Satan, which one was good and which one was bad?

I mean, think about it. That was some pretty heavy-duty work they did, and they did it for a long time, too. I bet they got pretty buff from doing all that labor.
