Yes, but your question is so broad open that I could answer it by saying that the energy that powers this existence is just the energy from the nuclear fusion going on within the Sun's interior. That is a real energy and it does "power our existence". Somehow I expect when you say "energy" you mean something metaphysical, not just mundanely physical. Right?

That would be how the AA does it. They refer to a higher power without naming it and once people realize there really is a higher power they search it out for themselves for strength and guidance.
