LMAO! Oh, come on, we all "know" that...it's because when the bible says a donkey talked it "really" talked! When the bible says that there is a walking, talking serpent, that there "really" was a walking talking serpent. Other Gods didn't really have flying chariots...only bible god had real flying chariots.
I could go on but I understand your point all too well. ;-)

Some of the greatest mythology has come down to us from the
Greeks ,,,,but the Greeks have a religion that believes in Christ ,,,
the Native Americans have the most fascinating history of
mythology ,,,in greek mythology there is always a lesson to be
learned because in their mythology they list all the different gods,,
and the greek gods in mythology have power over humans ,,,,,
the Native American mythology is based on animals ,,,like the
Raven ,,,,the great eagle ,,,and many other animals who helped
in their mythology to explain how the world was created from
their ancient times right to today ,,,,they have mythology ,,,but they also have religion ,,and very powerful religious practises ,,,
so there is great mythology but it is not their religion ....the great
mythologies of the world are exiting to read and teach amazing
lessons ,,I would suggest you go to the library and read it ,,,
but that is up to you ,,,,,today we only have the ancient mythology
to work with ,,and the only people now who are creating the
modern mythology for the future are artists. poets ,,,sculpters
and other forms of the arts,,,,,

Mythology is the term used to represent a non-scientific history. Biblical works are called mythology often too (except the parts historically accurate, for example there is historical proof that many of the saints lived). What's happening is you're confusion mythology with religion. Mythology is the "story"; religion is the "beliefs".

Well native Americans arent theists because they believe in a sort of ancient world animism, not a creator personal God.
The Greeks did believe in gods which made them theists, but often what they believed directly contradicted reality and was in fact grounded in legend and myth. For instance, anybody who wanted to disprove the existance of Zeus could simply go to Mt Olympus and disprove it. They didnt have the same modern western analytical scrutiny we are able to impose on religions today!
In contrast, the ancient religions we follow today arent grounded in easily testable propositions, but rather the testimony of people that witnessed things and proposed ideas that are not testable. In that way they cannot be dismissed as mere myth or legend through any known scientific process. They can be refuted through philosophical grounds but Christianity and Judaism are ancient and have withstood the onslaught of thousands of years of attacks from countless unbelievers.

Well honestly there is no real answer to this. Alot of the old legands have facts behind them. Also most beleifs were passed down by word of mouth, so what started out as the way it really was took flights into fantasy. None of them to me are anymore real or less real than another. This includes Christanity.

I think a lot of it has to do with how christians think their (greeks, n/a) beliefs are so absurd that they aren't really religious beliefs but folklore. like how we read cinderella and snow white...but the thing is they really do believe in their own type of religion its just christians bs way of trying to oppress it and not acknowledge it as concrete religion. further trying to make these people sound like idiots. because obviously christianity is the ONLY way to go

Who knows? Maybe 1000-2000 years from now, what Christians do will be considered mythology.
I guess it's all about prioritizing.
