HOW DOES SOMEONE STRUGGLE TO CATCH THEIR BREATH AFTER THEY'RE BEHEADED?

ETHER 15:31. And it came to pass that after he had smitten off the head of Shiz, that Shiz raised upon his hands and fell; and after that he had struggled for breath, he died.

What kind of explanation will work or have you already made your mind up that you believe everything those web sites say?

Why don't you try reading the Book of Mormon, pray about it, ask your Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, if it is true and then you will know.

As far as the Ether quote...who knows? Are you telling me you understand each and every verse in the bible? Somethings might not make sense to you, but think about it, does that verse have any doctrinal information in it that you don't understand, that would invalidate the truthfulness? No, we weren't there so we don't know what happened. Maybe "smitten off the head" just meant slicing his throat, who knows. Think about it, wouldn't it be REALLY hard to actually CUT someone's head off???

Not being a mormon, I couldn't really care if it's true or not.

However... there is significant evidence that the head lives for some time after being severed from the body and may 'struggle' for air for a few seconds even though it's incapable of moving air.

The "breathing head" question has already been answered, as far as the quotes and "problems" sites, if you do some research you will find that most of these have already been answered. If you'd like, email me off-board and we'll pick through these one by one, whether you want answers, or whether you want to debate, does not matter to me.
