Huh? How is this a question. Truly inappropriate. The pope will not condone or support a "holy day" for deamons.
Halloween has one of the highest crime/murder rate of any day of the year, usually the highest in most cities unless a catastrophe happens. This is because if you were gonna plan a murder Halloween's the day.
Cop: "Who killed Timmy?!"
Witness: "The person in the scream mask!"
Cop: "Oh great, there were only a million of those last night!"
People open doors to strangers in costumes who are wielding "fake" weapons. People see blood squirting everywhere and think it's fake. Etcetera.
It's odd how we can't even say "Merry Christmas" anymore, but "Happy Halloween" is perfectly acceptable, and we can bang on other people's doors for National Deamon Day.
I'm not even a christian. Just a neoplatonic monist, and frankly shocked at how acceptable well, "evil" is to modern society. Just package it right, with a nice little bow, and celebrity endorsement and you could get people to take cyanide.
