Really? And how do you scientifically prove a negative? That in all the universe, known and unknown, there cannot be such a thing as a God?

Before answering I hope you have good historical knowledge.
We know if Mohmmad was not there than Islam would not have been founded.
But can you give me a list of all those people, who if I go back in the past and kill will lead to the non inception of christianity.
In other words can you give me the entire list of people who were significant or helped in the creation and inception of christianity.

My business, Is between Heaven and hell and sinking fast. I have used up all of my savings and IRAs and Credit Lines to keep afloat.

My home is also tied into my business. If I fail , I lose all.

I have million dollar projects on the horrizon in the field of building and supply.

I pray that the good things happen before the bad.

I ask for intercessory prayer.

So many others will go down with me. I don't think I can last a month without help from above.

Some moeslems feel offended by many things. Even the things that supposed to be an unimportant joke. I wonder, why there's peoples who seems like so angry and sensitive like that. Are they happy with what they believe? Do they think that God so hopeless, that they have to take action to defense Him?

Isn't it supposed to be genetic? How can something natural in that way be a sin, and if it is, how are you supposed to change?

I mean its one of those things thats within you right?

By the way before you jump to conclusions, yes I am straight and christian, but I don't have anything against gay people, and I don't get why its such a big deal.

I'm an now a firm believer in the evilness of Friday the 13th, it was a horrible day where I was. There mush have been a hellmouth over Buffalo. How can it thunder, lighting and snow all at the same time. Tree branches brokes, schools were closed. It was a minor Armageddon.
Who ever heard of hell snow storm, not even in the half of the month yet.

Well that was my Fri 13th how about yours?

Does this law mean you should use your will to love, or does it mean you should love your will? How do you understand this law?

My neighbor's teenaged daughter has confided in me that she has been having odd dreams and visions at night. Her younger sister shares this room with her, and she sees and hears nothing and feels nothing bad. However, the teen swears up and down that some spirit, supposedly, is harrassing her in her sleep. Supposedly, it's calling a name in her ear and scratching her face in her sleep.

She really does have markings on her face too. Her nails are incredible short, so I doubt it was her nails. Plus, the scratches are thin and fine, moreso like fine nicks from a razor blade instead of even sharp fingernails. The reason I don't buy it is because she seems troubled, has been diagnosed with anxiety as well as a behavioral disorder, and this all began happening once the mother grouded her for 2+ weeks, and did not allow her to go to the homecoming ball.

I gave her a white blessing candle just in case she was being truthful, but I doubt it. Is she being "for real" in your opinion?

I am having dreams concerning a murder and it is causing me to have a sense of foreboding during waking hours. The murder is of someone I don't know and I see the murderer's face. I feel the victim's terror and pain. I KNOW the murderer will kill again. I have had these dream s all week. Yesterday I read about a murder fitting in with the dream in the paper. My fear is the murderer is a serial killer. He is trolling for vicitms right now. Any advice on how to deal with the feelings I have concerning the dreams?

If you don't believe in this keep it to yourself.

Some say that "God uses abortion..." perhaps referring to a naturally occurring process of eggs being "aborted" during the process of a woman becoming pregnant or to abortions that occur naturally because of complications, etc that are not induced by man. But if you apply such an argument to abortion, must you not apply it to murder then as well? For consider that God allows people to die every day by way of natural events in life (not man-induced), as well as even commanded many to go to war and kill people under the Old Covenant. Does this then justify murder (or does it make God a hypocrite since He commands us not to murder but allows such deaths to occur)? I believe that we ought not be afraid of death, for it ultimately brings us closer to God, but who are we to stand in the place of God by determining who lives and who dies?

It was written by men not God. It was written about 200 years after Jesus died and has been re-translated numerous times. Even some hard core Christian Fundamentalists (like William Jennings Bryan) have admitted that it some of it does not make sense.

So why do people assume it's God's word? Who was the comedian who said "The Bible was written by a bunch of Jesus' friends, and you know how friends always mess up stories."

Even my professors (who are educated) claim that the Bible should never be used as a factual, history book. Why don't Christians keep an open mind and maybe just consider that it is not all 100% fact and should never be taken literally? Why does their faith depend on it?

Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

This is Paul's testimony of his conversion. He says he told to be baptized, washing away his sins, calling upon the name of the Lord. He does not refute it. He openly proclaims it. Does this mean that he had his sins washed away in baptism in Jesus' Name? That is what it says. Why does eveyone have a hard time accepting this. It is in the book.
