I am looking at serious answers please.. I am interested in people's percecptions of Muslims.. (and particulary Muslim women)

Two years ago if you saw me..you would have seen a young woman in jeans and a t-shirt etc..
Now if you see me you see a young woman in a hijab ...

Do you think of me differently now.. How I have changed in these 2 years..Have I lost some brain cells?? Am I now a terrorist?? Am I now a downtrodden woman?

(My life has not changed since becoming a Muslim ..and neither do I think my personality has..
I still work, and travel alot.. though I will no longer visit a pub..
Though interestingly..I now feel a greater identification with my country England. Before I was a Muslim because I was an etnhnic minority I did not feel very close to my country.
I have also got more friends from different religions such as Judaism and Christianity because now I can understand religious people and before as an atheist I did not)

All this "God wants you to do this" and "God wants you to do that" seem disrepectiful to God. How do you know for sure what he/she/it wants?

Is it true that God made soemwhere in this world a twin of you. Like there is someone in the world that looks excatly like you?If it's true that God will punish your for your sins and that you will burn in hell or go to heaven,if you have been bad or good. If that's true then how come there are so many bad criminals and people in this world?

Then we can do whatever we want, right? All you have to do is say I believe, and then you are always saved? I see answers like this here all the time, but I cannot find any scripture to support this. Could someone please show me where this is?

Whenever you, as a Christian, try to use the Old Testament as a reference for anything, you get a slew of people telling you we are under grace, and you do not need the Old Testament any more?

So why don't they just rip it out of their books? They want to ignore all the the spiritual truths contained therein.

If Phillip used Isaiah to preach to the Ethiopian eunich, was he wrong?

Are all of the things that were called an abomination to God, now okay?

This seems to be what a lot of people want to think. Saved by grace, and do whatever you want.

1. The earth came to existence approximately 750 millions years ago.

5. From 5000 B.C. onward sindh civilization and its culture led to the beginning of a new civilization, which is called RUKVEDIC ERA. During that time, VEDA was written which was based on YAGNA and penance. It is called a knowledge gifted by God
6. From 3000 B.C to 1200 B.C, philosophical thesis came to the existence where pious knowledge of truth in place of yagna & penance became the medium for achieving salvation. During this time 6 philosophies were scripted.
SANKHYA PHILOSOPHY OF KAPIL
Philosophy of JUSTICE OF GAUTAM
Special Philosophy of KANAD
Chance Philosophy of PATANJALI
Philosophy of GEMINI
VYAS’S Philosophy of VEDANT
Hinduism is based on the above six.
7. Between 1200 B.C to 700 B.C, Ramayan, Mahabharat were scripted. Mahabharat is based on Vedant philosophy. This period gave modernity to the VEDAS.
8. Religious era-6th century B.C was the era of religious revolution. In Iran Saint Jarathustra went against the blind faith and its recognition, and put a mission on new philosophies. In Europe and in Arabian countries HIRACLIPTUS and PITHOGORAS put forward some new revolutionary philosophy. In India many saints showed up who went against the old beliefs to bring forward new ones. They spread new ideas and philosophies among the people. Till then, already 68 types of races or beliefs had come into existence.
The Jainism is considered to be existing from 2000 B.C. In 600 BC, the Jain religion took the present form. According to some people after VEDA, other religion like Jainism , jews , and islam(kuran) got developed one after another mahavir is from 600 B.C. The Jainism became famous during the period of Mahavir only. Mahavir was not believer of god , but he used to believe in the regularity of creation, existence of soul karm(Deeds) and re-incarnation. In 400 B.C. the got divided into two communities – one is DIGAMBER and the other one is SWETAMBER CHRISTIANITY became famous 2000 years back, from now. Hindus, Christians and Muslims believe in the existence of God, and consider him to be the creator, guardian and the director of this creation.
In 623 B.C, Gautam Buddha was born in KapilVastu, a place at the base of Himalaya. He is the father of Buddhism. Buddha didn’t acknowledge the existence of God. According to him, no creator is required for this creation, hence the world is functioned by its ‘nature’. Like that is the opinion of Mahavir. According to him – the creation is functioned by the reaction between the living and non-living beings. Mahavir believed in soul and its reincarnation. Buddha used to believe in reincarnation but he used to deny the existence of soul. He didn’t get into the controversy of Soul – Prime Soul. He focused much on the search of remedies of miseries and its eradication. According to him a man doesn’t get rebirth when he becomes free from sins (misdeeds). The deeds are connected to the body, speech, mentality and the efforts. The life of a man in the other world is decided by his deeds. Man has to suffer for his own deeds. According to him (Buddha) – as the lamp get extinguished with the total reduction of the filament along with the oil, like that man gets free from the tentacles of life with the total eradication of his own desires and arrogance, which is called a salvation. Man can achieve salvation during his living period also.

In Bayu Puran the Gupta dynasty and Chandragupta – I hve been mentioned about. The number of mythologies are 18. mythologies are rectified from time to time. The modern version of mythologies were published during the time of ‘Gupta’.
For last 2000 years, after Jesus, Mohammed Sahib and God devotees like – Jhulelal, Kabir, Nanak, mira and many others came into the lime light. They kept alive the old traditions. And, at the same time they brought changes into the society considering the present situation. Taking from then till now, there is nothing more than prayers and preaching. The philosophy and wisdom have been hidden in the stories and excerpts.
In the name of religion what you don’t do ? From prayer to fasting; From portrait worship to Idol worship, we do every thing. Why ? Rowing a boat in the ocean of sin – virtues and good deeds – bad deeds we have reached to the middle of it. We are confused now. We are unable to understand how much more adversity we are going to face with ? who will save us; when God is not listening to us ? Think it yourself. Without analyzing don’t come to any decision.

I just read the following:
"The Christ Conspiracy, the Greatest Story Ever Sold" by Acharya S.

"The Book Your Church Doesn't Want You to Read' by Tim Leedom

Both book were unbearingly hard to read, but had some good points and content. I've read a ton of books like these, but they are all hard to follow. Does anyone out there know of a book along these lines that has good content, but doesn't read like a math book? I've read all the books "surrounding" the Da Vinci Code - while mildly amusing and thought provoking - they go off on tangents.

I want serious answers please..because it looks like a lot of people are confused and think they are at war with Islam and Muslims when they are in fact at war with a group of terrorists who happen to be Muslim..

There used to be a cold war with Russia. When the west was at war with communism..but this caused a problem when this war with extended to democratic communists living in the west and even socialists or slightly left leaning people..in the USA who were victims of McCarthy witch hunts..

Now the west is at war with Al -Queada... But are there some who think they are at war with Islam to?

As a Muslim I'm at war with terrorism and hate Al- quaeda but I'm worried that to many want to extend this conflict to all Muslims...

Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Does this mean Jesus said there was one god, and not three?

And does His reference from Deuteronomy mean that the Old Testament is till valid?
