I'm behind you 1,000 % on this one. Way cool. Actually you are one of the first to join in what I see as the next big popular trend, especially in England and France. I would guess that England will have its first Muslim PM within a decade, and Parliament will be almost totally Muslim ten years past that. Pretty much all the English cathedrals will become mosques, although one or two may be preserved for the sake of history. The big issues is, which main branch of Islam will be in control? No one can tell at this point, but I hope it's Shiite. Because with Shiites will come sharia law. You and most other Muslims will undoubtably welcome this as a positive event. It will be kind of cool to see those evil Christians pay a yearly tax so they won't be executed as infidels. Plus sharia will get rid of all the gays. Like the Taliban did in Afghanistan. And they'll be no more life terms for murder, (which really means all of six months anyway). You all can just lop off a few heads and that will establish order soon enough. I think it would be so cool to be a Muslim man, cause then I could beat the hell out of mys wife whenever I felt like it, and she'd have to take it. And if she really got me p-o'd, I could just wave my finger in her face, say "I divorce you", three times, and kick her butt out in the alley. What a concept!. Again, I heartily commend you for your avante garde decison. It's a totally wonderful. Of course, by the time Muslim world domination hits Arizona where I'm at, I'll be a long time gone. In the meantime, the beer is cold, the babes are hot, and life is great.

I personally don't give two fifths of a damn what you are or have converted to, hell, be a cat worshipper for all I care. I just don't understand why any body, especially a woman, would consent to conversion to a hate filled, bloody beleif system that operates under the guise of "peace", and oppresses the female in every way.
You are whatever you say you are. At the end of the day, you have to live with you and your decisions. Good for you if you are happy.
I just don't get how countries like England and the US offer all of it's citizens, male and female equal rights and liberties, yet a woman would choose to take herself backwards 3,000 years into the dark ages and become Islamic. Mind boggling.
I hope you researched this religion THOROUGHLY and were not coerced into this choice. Wow. I don't have a hard time accepting other beleifs and religions either and I am a deist. Islam is too cultish, bloody and barbaric for me to "like", so yes, I dislike your religion. I dislike that people committ horrible acts in the name of the koran, prophet mohammad, and allah. I dislike that Muslims are bullying citizens of other nations into following their prescriptions by use of threats and fear...the US and Britan ARE NOT Islamic countries, and it's not fair to expect them to accept all Islamic ways. The latest riots in London and Paris were especially atrocious.
Are you a terrorist? How the hell do I know? I know I have fought for my country in it's defense as a soldier, so I have done my part. What are you doing to show allegiance to the nation in which you live? Are you out rioting about cartoons and the Pope? In that case, yes, you are a terrorist guilty by association. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Syria, Saudi and Iraq are all accepting Muslim refugees I hear. It's actually rather cool weather even this time of the year.

A little, the Muslims do a good job of helping lost souls find their way. I also admire a lot of the teachings in Islam, I studied it for a long time, all about it, and how it works in it's purest form.
Even with the good things about it, there were to many things within it, (mainly humans passing God's punishments to other humans on earth), and the laws against women, that there is no way I would ever convert.
I did become a Catholic though.
You are lucky that you will most likely not have to see the bad part of the Muslim faith in England, unless they go back to Shara laws.
Peace, and God Bless you!

My perceptions of you in a hijab would be that you are controlled and dominated by a society that hates and despises women. As a woman, I would probably not think YOU are a terrorist, but I might question whether your male companion might really like to blow me up. I would wonder if you plan to brainwash your children to become extremists and haters of civilization. I would wonder if your voice would condemn atrocities committed in the name of your religion, or if like the others, you choose to keep silent and make excuses.
Some or all of that might be unfair to you as an individual. But individuality is covered up and hidden by the hijab, giving the illusion of just another cookie-cutter drone. I would not see your individuality. I would see the hijab. And in the global stage, the hijab reinforces in my mind a culture of hate.
I'm not meaning to offend you, but you wanted serious answers, and I am trying to offer you an honest answer.

It's good that you are now a more understanding person.
As a Christian Human I mostly notice the mode of dress. I don't think the Muslim females receive such a negative opinion as males do.
Based on the fact that the terrorists are mostly male.

I am a Christian and a white man. I will be honest with you: I am offended by the garb Muslim women wear. I think the whole thing subjugates you and I cannot understand why any woman would want to wear that stuff. The Christian churches have struggled hard to excommunicate that patristic worldview and I just can't accept something so petty as sacred just because we attribute a certain meaning to it. It's either there innately or it isn't. So often religion teaches us to discard our common sense and that's where it gains control over us. Both religions have the issue.

You should be very grateful that the Almighty has guided you. There are some shallow brained people (they're always around) - who usually make statements and comment on something they know a very little about. Unfortunately, their brain cannot go further than: Muslim = terrorist. It's sad, but we only put our faith in God the Almighty. You should be very proud and you're not at all a downtrodden woman. You're pure and a God-loving person. You're respected in the eyes of REAL men and women - cos you're real now.
Think of Maryam Alayhi-salaam (Peace be upon her) (Virgin Mary)... she was a virtous, modest woman who was a beloved servant of Allah. She used to be covered and dressed very modestly. She used to remain in seclusion and was a devoted worshipper. Allah blessed her and honored her with a son that was a great Prophet and servant of Allah.
Now, if Hadhrat Maryam (Peace be upon her) was in the era
of today - these brainwashed pea-sized people would refer to her and an 'extremist', and 'terrorist'.

I look at anyone who takes their religion too seriously as a bit of a freak . The fact that you advertise it is the only reason I may wonder about you. What ever religion a person is obsessed with isn't the determining point .Religious fanatics worry me...period..

Why waste your time with such silly things. This is why so many people think your point of view sucks and give the wrong point of view. Grow up and get a life or become a teacher thats what i think.
