The Bible was not written by God, but inspired by Him. Men known as prophets were the link between God and the common man. Some of the books of the Bible are written anonymously. There are several other books, but back in the 15th Century (and I may have the time period wrong) many books were cut out and make up the current version.

There are portions of the Bible that are written literally,And there are portions of the Bible that is written as parables so that we can understand how to apply certain situations to our everyday life. When Jesus is depicted as a perfect lamb used for the sacrafice for the sins of the world. Jesus was not turned into a lamb befor he was crucified, but the anolagy was used because of the LAW Of God sent down to Man after Adam and Eve were expeled from the garden for disobediance. When the BIBLE says that Jesus Died was barried and rose again this is literal.

No. The Bible is not the Koran. The Bible proclaims its authors were inspired of God. Sometimes the ideas were inspired. Sometimes the values were inspired. Sometimes both the values and ideas were inspired and sometimes the ideas were purely of human origin or were inspired of God for a particular people in a particular situation that does not apply to us in the same way. Sometimes, the fact that the authors believed at all against oppostion was where the inspiration lay. However, God did not dictate the words we read in the book. It's more like a painting than a snapshot photo.

God did not personally write the Bible. He inspired certain men to write down what God wanted to say. Meaning... God told the men what to write down (they didn't make up their own stories). Some of these men are:Moses, David, Paul and other disciples. 2Peter 1:20-21

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. He said it and men wrote it down. The ten commandments were written on stone with the hand of God.

No; God did NOT write the Bible. The first five books of the Bible (Old Testament) were written by Moses; others, presumably prophets, wrote the other books. It was altered by corrupted men in the medieval era.

No, men were moved by God's spirit to write the Holy Scriptures. 2Peter 1:20-21 reads, "No prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. For prophecy was at no time brought by man's will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit."
