Peopel try to use verse from the bible that have descriptions of 'beasts' but I read through that and it is obviously not referring to the dinosaurs but of something of the present or future, not the past. Did god not like the dinosaurs?

hahahaha...daryll I get it. that was a joke right, so much hidden meaning in it...calling me stupid about an obvious typing mistake without answering the question to show the hyprocracy of christians and then spelling atheist wrong...,hahaha..that was funny. You should be a stand up comedian, the athiests wil llove you...and still no1 gives me a direct answer but get plenty of lame remarks from lame, gullable, brainwashed, inferior people who don't have enough brain cells or reasoning ability to figure out that they are just that, brainwashed....sad.

Correct answer: The bible says nothing about dinosaurs because the people who wrote it didn't know they exist.

WOW! That's a slap in to reality, huh?

How many ignorant people are going to keep asking this question? I have seen this same question at least ten times in one month. The Bible doesn't say anything about the dinosaurs. That doesn't mean that according to the Bible, dinosaurs didn't exist, it just says nothing about them. That must mean that as far as God is concerned, the existence of dinosaurs once upon a time has nothing to do with His holy Word to man. Kind of like half the questions on this particular page have nothing to do with either religion or spirituality. Kind of like aethiests being on this page in the first place, when they care nothing about the existence of God.To sum it up, it's kind of like your question, it means nothing. Oh yeah, you misspelled people, stupid.

Prior to 1850, the word for those large lizard fossils was dragon. Dinosaur was coined in the 1800's. So search the Bible for dragon.

Moving right along...

Job 40:15-24, "Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares."

Read Job chapter 41 for the description of his scales; scales of a type which we did not have evidence of until recent times. It sounds like a Apatasourus or Diplodicus to me.

A fundamentalist Christian once told me that dinosaurs were a 'test from God'. He put fossils in the ground etc to see if they would really believe everything God said without question, even the evidence was completely contradictory. I think this makes God a p*ss taker!
Unfortunately some people really believe this.........the word gullible springs to mind.

Best wishes.

They were around when Marduk was still in the official position of God. When his term expired and Jehovah was elected Acting God in 5665 BCE, the dinosaurs were already extinct.

The Bible doesn't mention dinosaurs at all, because no one writing the Bible even knew dinosaurs ever existed.

The evidence of dinosaurs were all underneath them and they didn't even know.

There is a mention of very large creatures. May be dinosaurs. I think they died in the flood.

Genesis1:24

Says HE created all animals.
Before you go whining we know it does not specifically say dinosaurs, it does not specify any individual creature.
However , it says all living creatures.
Kind of sums it up.

Get a GRip.
