hence the terrorist problem will remain. How will it be if muslims in the US/Europe are repatriated back to the country of their origin (most muslims are first/second generation immigrants). Just to be fair Christians who have gone to the Gulf for jobs can also be sent back to their parent countries.
The US/UK can also get out of Iraq/Afghanistan & stop supporting Israel.
Do you think that will solve the terrorist problem?

My actual question is on why the Catholic church doesn't do masses in Latin any more.

Here's what I know, and as you'll see, this little collection of things has me rather confused: I know that the change was pretty recent, around the 1960's. My significant other, who was raised in a weird hybrid of Russian Orthodox/Catholicism, refers to it as "Vatican 2" but doesn't really know where that came from. (This may well be a cultural thing for him, as he lived in Latvia until he was 9, so total clarification of that isn't necessary.) We have one church in the area that still does Latin Masses, but I've been told they're "unofficial" or possibly even excommunicated.

Can anyone enlighten me further?

At no time for any period of time has there been any real lasting peace in the middle east, the US is the youngest country in the world almost and we have had periods of peace that have lasted longer than most in middle east. And this was even before we supposedly invaded their lands, although what that really means,if you know history,is that we began to have major dealings with them which were embraced by the powerful due to the wealth they could attain, but since the poor gained nothing they hated the west choosing to blame us for their plight rather than their greedy and immoral leaders. The west has more than enough real faults to answer for without answering for fictional wrongs made up by disgruntled arabs. And while things in their world have gone wrong ocassionally, such as the creation of Israel, the fact is that whenever they have had the chance for peace they have thrown it away. Of course the Quran is filled with violence so is this their natural course as a people?

says (Jesus' words) "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 He didn't say through me or Mary or one of the saints. He said to access the Father (God) you have to go through HIM. Why would you waste your time praying to anyone else? If I believe the Bible (which I DO) those prayers don't make it through to God.

Serious question! God could be Allah or a Higher Power or the Creator of the Universe or any name you choose. Jesus and other spiritual masters are included. Interested or not? Reasons?

There is no way that Isa can translate Jesus and there is no way that the companions of Isa al Masih ibn Mariam can be likened to Christians and there is no word in the Quran that translates "Christian" yet Muslims continue to read translations of the Quran that falsely insert Jesus and Christians and even refer to Christians as "People of the Book" when People of the Book are meant to be Children of Israel that were either Yahuudi (Penitents and not Jews) or Nazaaraa (Helpers).
Some Muslim men marry Christian women and claim the Christian women are people of the book when Christianity never had a prophet come to them and never received Revelation.
The Quran says it is better to marry believing slaves than disbelieving women, and Muslims know that Christian women are disbelievers, yet they marry them in preference to believing Muslim women.
Muslims make the God Jesus a prophet of Islam and this lowers Muhammad to the level of likeness to Jesus who is a man-God and they insist.

I would like to know why there is intolerance againts christians. I've heard in Pakistan killed 2 christians for insulted muhammad.. so why. is it muhammad a god? another one some christians have to emigrated to another countries, cuz their muslims brothers attack them,in special in Palestine,Egypt, and with the message of the Pope,.. there was againts christians in the middle east..why in these countries exist the intolerance. the muslims in the western they have freedom to call to the pray, build mosques ect..but christians not.. there are not new churches besides the old churches.. you cannot teach the Gospel or give bibles or includes to go out and teach the gospel like jehova's witnesses do.. or neither use a crucifix in saudi arabia.

God is up in Heaven, working like a dog keeping the Universe in line. "Wow, I could really use a vacation!" he grumbles.

An angel at his side pipes in "You havn't taken one in a while, we can handle things up here for a bit, Boss!"

"Ok, you're right." God thinks a bit. "But where should I go?"

"How about Earth, its been a while since you visited there?" the angel suggests.

"Naw," replies God. "Last time I went there I got some Jewish chick knocked up and they havn't stopped talking about it since!"

Does this question make fun of God or Christians? Do you think its funny? Do you think God laughs at us when we take ourselves and our religion too seriously?

If you examine the new testament you see that early belief was based largely on empirical grounds. There are some verses that suggest an empirical basis for Jesus’ life.

Peter retelling what he Saw and Heard
2 Peter 1:16-18

Thomas Sees Jesus Risen from the Dead
Jn 20:24-30

Peter and John speak boldly b/c they cannot keep silent “What we have seen and heard”
Acts 4:18-20

But who alive today has seen those things happen? As far as I know, people today must put their faith in eyewitnesses that they have not met who told someone else, who wrote a book, that we find scores of generations later.

It is also true we trust scientists who make observations that we cannot or don’t have the time to replicate ourselves. ***We take much of our knowledge by the authority of others, but we should question that authority intelligently.

Can you give a clear and compelling reason to trust/distrust the authority of the New Testament?

Many Muslim scholars support the stoning to death for adultery as legislation of the prophet Muhammad outside of the Quran and contrary to Quran, and they claim to find justification for this in Hadith. Adultery in Islam requires four witnesses, but in the absence of these witnesses both parties are allowed to swear by Allah etc. etc. Allah commands that adultery can lead to greater sin.
It is the greatest of sins to give partners to Allah as much as it is to judge by other than the Quran.
Let those who trust put their trust in Allah. Never said I what I had no authority to say.
No man alive today or those who lived during the days of the Revelation of the Quran and up until today, had or has the authority to override Quran, and Muslims who do so or who condone such behaviour are guilty of Shirk.
Muslims behave as if Muhammad is alive and somewhere around the Masjid and yet they ignore Quran for hearsau hadith only to make Islam a Church, and a male-dominated Church at that.
