Because they have put themselves in a bind by adding other religions ideas into theirs. and have to keep changing their ideas to explain the changes.
Christianity was started as was its parent Judaism . to keep the word and deeds of their Deity intact . with out changing a word or deed without facing the wrath of their God.
Judaism is Yahweh from Moses( monotheism) before that it was Yahweh and Jehovah.
Christianity is Jesus as the promised messiah of the Jewish people, Until they also recognize Him as such.

For eons human beings believed that there existed a diety that punuished human beings for "sins". attempting to soothe gods human beings "sacrificed" helpful animals or perhaps their babies to coach how essentially sorry they have been for their "sins" despite if that they had no theory what it became that they had finished to offend a god. a substantial result od Jesus' crucification ("for us") became the eventual end of the extensive-unfold sacrifice ritual. Slaughtering bulls, babies or cutting the hearts out of residing electorate and so on no longer happens because of the fact Jesus already died for "our "sins". in any different case we'd nonetheless be sacrificing Jenna Bush to appease the guilt of the father because of the fact the financial crumple ws punishment for Bush's erxcesses. Blah, blah blah.

Most everyone on this site has heard about Jesus all their life. The Christians never stop yapping about it. They don't seem to realize we have heard it all before, and rejected it for the nonsense it is.

In case your haven't read in the Bible we haven't lost Him...He died for our sins...But I have wonderful news for you...He overcame death...and He is most certainly not lost to us...I feel Him telling me to pray for you right now! So I am...God Bless...would'nt you like to have a little discussion with Him to? He's right there waiting for you with love and forgiveness in His eyes...OH By the Way He sent The Comforter Back to Be with us....Try listening with your heart in humbleness and repentance and just maybe He will be merciful and kind and accept your pleadings...I am certainly praying that He will...

Uhhhh.... no.
I found God 33 years ago and I still have him in my life. I grow in him and learn of him each day, and I know that I will all of my life.
