Scientist and researchers form a very small no. of Individuals in this world.Christians form 1/3 of this worlds population.Scientists have come up with the concept of Evolution. All countries of the Western World are governed by Christian govts.
If your ID and Creationism is true, than can you tell me why in All major schools and universities of the World evolution is taught,
questions are asked based on it and it is considered to be the Truth, and your Creationism does not form a part of their Syllybus.
I mean in a democratic world why is it that when your sheer nos are millions of times more than the Scientists their Work bears more weight ?

The Koran claims it is clear, but I do not think it is clear. I honestly do not know how certain cases of inheritance should be handled according to the Quran. I am unaware of a proof that Islam is true. I do not have the courage of my convictions to amputate a thief, or to commit an 8:12 ( When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them) .Striving to be honest, I have doubts. But it is wrong to have doubts. If I follow Islam but do not believe in it then I am a hypocrite. What should I do? The choices are believer, doubter, unbeliever or hypocrite

I can see both sides to different issues so clearly, that it makes it hard to figure out what to decide. I don't feel like I have to have my opinions in stone, but I would like to be able to say "This is what I think" in conversations. It is not like that on every issue, but there are quite a few that I ride the fence on. Neither do I think I have to have an opinion on absolutely everything or know everything--I think it is okay to say "I don't know" sometimes. But right now I feel like I have an opinon on absolutely nothing.

When you see two sides very clearly, how do you make a choice about what you believe?

I find these people to be extremely offensive in their manner while supposedly spreading the word of God. Do people really believe that this church has a message worth listening to?

i supreme being is always a dictator. could this idea of allah been 1 supreme being the reason why islam has never tasted democracy? i like the christian dogma of jesus been god, because the life he lived based on kindness is more touching than the islamic dogma of almighty allah.

And a version at that! The KJ-Version was a wonderful adaptation and translation that suited the reigning king at that time, but it was done under fear of loosing one's head!
Much new research shows that there were in it ;
more than 1500 errors!
Yet people stubbornly continue to use it thinking it is perfect.
Absolutely no disrespect intended. People at the time did the best they could, but the language is archaic and, were Jesus to spend some time talking with you, he wouldn't use it.
He would talk with you in your native language!
Yes some things loose their meaning when languages change, that is why God confused the language at the tower of bable, or at least one of them.
Just some thoughts that I have had running in my mind, as I said, no disrespect intended. I have several versions myself. Won't you consider haveing a great day?

If you had the power to choose a religion or religions to be the truth or in other words the laws of our world would be governed by majority of the principles written down in those religions.

Than which religions would you choose.
I like the concept of reincarnation(though it has not been proved by science yet).

It seems more believable to me that Jesus was simply a charismatic leader whose stories were continually exaggerated until the point of seeming god-like. Eventually, out of these stories grew an entire mythology to give people a way to explain the unexplainable and to try to control the masses. Doesn't this seem like a more likely explanation then the son of god was on earth and then disappeared along with any evidence of the existence of god?

Do you think because your liberal college professor told you a few of his or her own misconceptions you're the athority on the subject? Do you honestly think that because that the professor or the author of the book you read was non-biased simply because he/she wasn't a Christian?

How about I clear up a few things.

Christianity is more than an orginal idea, it's the truth. Pagan religions dating from around the same time borrowed from Christianity not the other way around.

The council of Nicea is where the Bible was put together not written. They basically came together and standardized what the vast majority of Christians were already doing/reading.

The Council of Nicea did not decide Christ's divinity but confirmed it. Some doubters were trying to influence Christianity to take away the divinity of Jesus and the Church felt the need to make a statement about it. Belief in Christ's devinity can be found in Paul's letters which go all the way back to within 2 decades...

Not that I'm giving lessons. But what religion (or religions) do you have even an intellectual curiosity about? Even if the curiosity is simply to know about the tenets of faith and beliefs in order to make converting someone easier?

why are there muslim taxi drivers at the minneapolis airport that refuse to pick-up passengers who purchased alcohol at the duty-free? does it not appear to people that inch by inch muslims, with their false doctrine of peacefulness, are imposing sharia law on everyone? in europe they are actually proposing a law that bans drawing muhammad in cartoons. its like europeans are so bored that they have nothing to do but surrender and make stupid laws. offen muhammad (the moron) and they kill you while saying theyre peaceful. offend Jesus and nothing happens.
