I am not sure this has that much to do with the Muslim disposition to violence or bad government. In fact, the majority of Christians believe only in one God (Jesus and God the Father are one in the same to many). The difference is that Islam teaches that there should be no separation of Church in State. Christians learned very early on that this was needed. Christ says, "give unto Caesar that which is Caesar's". This is the basis for the separation of Church and State. Christians have made mistakes with this concept, but generally I believe this is the main difference that causes Christians to flock towards democracy and Islamic nations to lean towards dictatorships.

Hmm...so you dont like the feeling of dread that comes from knowing there is this one huge supreme Being that can smite you as you stand eh?
Youre a man without much spine is what I would think.
But as it goes, am a reasonable person and Ill answer your question with some serious intent.
Define democracy for me.
Equality of rights?
Men and women are equal in the eyes of God in Islam and with their treatments among themselves.
But people have been bigots before Islam and they shall continue to be bigots after it. Religion doesnt change much if youre an ignorant man.

I agree especially when he does this:
Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel

I'm not going anywhere this one. In today's world, you say anything bad 'bout Allah or The Prophet (PBH) and one a them mullahs gonna issue one a them fatwas and I could get my sorry butt blown up. Far as I can see the Islamic religion suits Arabs to a tee. It's perfect for their lifestyle. The Koran and the AK-47 are compatible symbols. . So more power to 'em. Arabs should probably not try Chrisitianty. Too dangerous. Cause if they leave the Muslim club, it's another fatwa for them.

I disagree. It all depends on the qualities of that supreme being. The scriptures tell us that God IS love. And a study of the scriptures show us that he tempers his other cardinal qualities of justice, wisdom & power based on that love. For instance, his justice would probably demand that we puny humans be wiped off the face of the earth for what we have done to his creation and to each other. His love however is that he gave his only Son so that we might be redeemed.
Keep in mind that many of the things that have been done in God's name throughout history & today really have not been things he approves of. For instance, churches bless soldiers before going to war. Why is that if one of the prime teachings is that we must love our brother as ourselves, that we must not commit murder?

God is one. God is the Father, Jesus is His Son, and the Holy Spirit guides and leads. Together in being, purpose, and will, they become one.
These three are deity - separate but one. In creation, God, the Father, provided the matter; God, the Son created; and God, the Holy Spirit set all things pertaining to the laws of nature into being. They were one in effort and will, and one in creation.
This one God cannot lie, is not the author of confusion, and is a loving, patient, merciful, gracious God who loves His children and wants to give good things to them. However, He is also a righteous, holy, and perfect God who gives such judgement to those who rebel. I see that as what a wonderful parent would do to teach us to love them, not as the pattern of a dictator.

There is a God who loves you more than anything in this world and if you would have been the only person on this earth, he would have given himself for you. This same God hears your heart and answers prayers. Please get yourself a Bible (NIV-new international version is easy to read) and ask Him to help you understand His love letter to you. Read Romans Chapter3 verse 23, then Romans chapter 6:23, John chapter 14 verse 6, and John chapter 3 verse 16 (read through to verse 20, if possible) God Bless You

the assumption of one ultimate God as such isn't risky. yet you're stunning that this is risky to think of that this God has the mentality of a dictator who does not tolerate different perspectives.

god or no god,on complete submission to supreme deity one become saint, if you occasionally pray to any god in any form then you are releasing your tension of course you are believer. if you are concentrating on your work and responsibility and do not creat problem for any other persons then you need not to remember any GOD in any form since you will not have any tension or time to remember him and no need ofcourse
