Most of those posting here believe Yeshua Ben Yosef was the incarnation of one head of a three-headed god, vaguely comprehend the head they call "Father", and comprehend the head called the "Holy Ghost" little if at all, so they naturally think of Jesus, about whom they fancy they know the most and have a personal relationship. Like many Moslems, many Christians are decidedly anti-intellectual and cling to bronze age notions of the supernatural as if all that could possibly be understood of God and the universe was revealed to Jews and Greeks 2-3 millenia ago, when, as those who study history are aware, the Jews and Greeks have had many conflicting and silly "revelations" through the centuries. That we still cling to gods of blood sacrifice is probably why we still make war when cooperation would serve us better. but we may be agreed that a discussion of a God not born and bred in barbarism and blood rituals would be nice to be able to have without a lecture on Jesus.

This is probably because God truly is mysterious, and Jesus is our advocate: 1 John 2:1 ... And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous

He is our liazon between us and God the almighty. For example: if we commit a crime and go before the judge (God), we may not know too much about the judge, but we will know alot about our attorney (Jesus).

hopefully this puts things into a better perspective for you

Well this is what christians believe that Jesus Christ is god (God forbid!). Its normal for them, you may find it funny but that doesn't help. You have to have a logical approach along with proofs to comment about anything rather than labelling things as funny.

Please take the time to read things and then form your opinion. As a muslim, I encourage you to do that. Muslims are suffering because they have left practicing Islam in the true sense. Islam encourages learning, thinking about things, and constructive criticism. All of that leads to sound knowledge.

No its not funny. Christian says Jesus. Muslim says Allah, Hindu say Rama, Krishana etc. Sikh says Waheguru and so on, because they follow that religion. But all religions say that God is One, The Supreme Power. And Really God is One.

Because to Christians, Jesus is God. God is 3 Divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. When you talk about one of them, you are actually talking about God Himself. One God, three Persons.

Jesus is LORD. He's One in the Same. You'll see one day, even you, Mr. T.

It may seem funny that people cannot see that Jesus always referred to his father as God, and not himself.

Is Jesus Christ actually God?

John 17:3, RS: “[Jesus prayed to his Father:] This is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God [“who alone art truly God,” ], and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” (Notice that Jesus referred not to himself but to his Father in heaven as “the only true God.”)

John 20:17, RS: “Jesus said to her [Mary Magdalene], ‘Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (So to the resurrected Jesus, the Father was God, just as the Father was God to Mary Magdalene. Interestingly, not once in Scripture do we find the Father addressing the Son as “my God.”)

I wonder if anyone gets the hint?? I and the father are one, in purpose, thought. Just as we can all be one in purpose and thought.
