The bible does not mention a woman present at the last supper, but usually women did make the food in those days. It was a meeting with the disciples anyway, Also, there is no description on what Jesus looked like or the apostles. Usually when men got together women and children were not present when men were discussing issues of business and things. Just the way it was back then. Not a disrespect or anything for woman.

The Bible makes no mention of a woman being there and thats what you need to go by. I don't understand why theologist don't do the same thing.

According to the bible there present during the last supper were the 12 apostles. They all were male. It seems that back in the day women were considered lesser a specie. It doesn't make me none to happy but that is the way it goes.

Normally at a Seder there would be whole families but since no woman is mentioned at this one I doubt if they would have been formally attending. Since women are mentioned at Pentecost and other times by name, it seems at this particular even they were not present. Also, just curious...what renowned theologian are you referring to?

I don't believe the guy who painted the last supper was actually there. I think the painting is the only place that idea comes from, but I may be wrong

there are many religious writings about the Last supper, not just the Holy Bible, but i have never seen anything about a woman being there. I believe it was a time for Christ to spend his last hours with his closest followers and for him to share with them one final time

The last supper was a passover seder. There definitely would have been women and children present!

Well, its kinda challenging considering the men and women wear dresses and have long hair. Unless they spot a beard or some facial hair, you can't be 100% sure of the gender.
