Well, to make a long story short, religion has wrecked my life and my mind. Child abuse is not recognized by officials of the church and they have a data base of names of peodofiles that haven't received punishment. The religion in which I speak is Jehovah's Witnesses. Yes it is a cult, but the Catholic church did the same thing. Islam fundamentalist kill and have Holy war in Israel with the Jews. Christianty has seen it's wars and continues to inhibit and control our government and force their backward doctrines on us. I am fed up and angered and want to put an end to religion and it's harmful ways. Their God is vengeful and one that destorys all that question him. It destroys enlightenment and the growth of a persons in the worse ways. Believers are mindless dogma following monsters that don't keep their beliefs to themselves but try and force it on all of us. It is time we let knowledge, reason, and empathy take control of the beliefs we have, and the behavior we exibit.

....and they had children, who also had children etc etc.
Then surely we are all related and part of the same family.Which also means that we are all incestuous.Isn't incest a sin?

I know atheists don't believe in anything but thats still your Faith, so the question rightfully applies to you as well.

in front of Peter John and James-all three were killed cause they wouldnt deny Jesus-Peter said i had denied Jesus dont crucify me the same way im not worthy do it to me upside down and that is the glory of the upside down cross-he was martyrd that way rather than deny the Messiah who taught love and truth for everyone even our enemies.

well why those two-Moses represents the Law-because of his sin he couldnt even enter Israel-but he got it right about the blood atonement as the only way to forgive sin-Leviticus 17vs 11 and he was here to testifiy to Jesus at his glorification-Jesus light up bright transfigured. Luke 9 vs 28 witnesses and 29 lit up bright (without wacko weed-that destroys the mind)
vs 30 "and behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elijah."

Elijah was a prophet taken directly to heaven-and he came to bear witness too.

what do u bear witness too. would u die for what what you believe.

It seems that my question (link below) irked a few people out there.

There are several things I'd like to mention.
1. I am not judging those who are overweight. I have my own battle with 10 extra pounds, and many of the people that I love are of "varying" weights.
2. I am aware that some people are overwieght because of a genetic tendency, a thyroid imbalance or other medical reason.
3. The main point that I am making is that we athiests get called "sinners" on this board on a daily basis. I don't believe in the Chirstian concept of sin, but in human morality. I am merely pointing out the hypocrisy of some of the people who call us sinners, on a daily basis.
4. Kudos to those who fessed right up and said that gluttony is a problem that they are working on. I know that it is for me.

1 Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us,2 just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. 3 With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4 so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.

With all the pure junk theology today I wish there was actually a form one could fill out and be able to show in black and white that certain doctrin was wrong. Even then I don't think some people would believe.

These are the two religions that destroyed a number of encient cultures in the world. Yet they (at least Christianity) say that whatever God made is divine! Would these religions look very beautiful had they been restricted in and around their place of birth?

Only the foolish and bewitched draw back to law.
Fulfilling law would accurse everyone, kill everyone.
Perhaps there is an allegoric answer many don't see.
I am(grace) not come to destroy(law), but to fufill(grace).
Law worketh wrath is what destroys both property & life.
God hath not appointed us unto (law worketh) wrath.
God did not send his Son to condemn(law).
Bless(grace) and curse(law) not.
Go(learn) and sin(law) no more.

Thanks for your answer to my last question: human vegetables have souls.

Before, you said that my pig, who is named Gordon, does not have a soul.

Gordon can open doors, scratch 1000 words and phrases with his trotters, and lives in a trailer at our place. We raised him as an orphan and taught him the sign language, so that we can talk with him about things - what he likes to eat, if he wants to go for a walk, eat nuts, mate another pig, roll around in filth and whatnot.

Gordon looks like a pig but has cognitive facilities and can communicate. But a human vegetable who looks like a person is really just a slab of living meat with blood gurgling around inside it but no intelligence at all. You would not have much fun hanging around with a human vegetable, but Gordon is learning how to bowl.

I cant understand why Gordon loses out here - the pig with personaliity is being treated as soulless, and the human vegetable meat slab gets the soul - why is this?
