I picture it to be like the R.E.M. music video "Shiny Happy People"

Which is also why I'm an atheist.

My girlfriends and I are all dancers at PussyCats. I'm trying to encourage them to come to church with me. I've explained to them all the social and economic benefits. I tell them about all the rich guys they might find there and how some of them really squirm in front of their family when I recognize them and say hello. That's kind of funny. LOL. Oh, well. I told my girlfriend that it's cheap, they just need to take a few of the dollar bills we collect from dancing on the floor and put them in the collection plate for Jesus. I have found that God blesses me with even more dollar bills the next week. The pastor always seems to enjoy my being there. He always wants a hug and invites me to come in for some private counseling during the week. It's great advertising with the men folk because they always seem to show up to see me at work the next week.

I think it's just great but I can't seem to get my girlfriends motiviated to join me. Any ideas?

According to biblical belief, when a Christian dies and is going/does go to heaven... then when a family member dies and is going/does go to heaven... are these 2 individuals reunited in the same feeling as they would have had on earth? Will they know they were related and be excited with full undertstanding of their reunion and seperation on earth? Or will everyone think everyone is the same in general? This is a hard question to word perfectly, I hope you get my meaning.

Please no long winded answers; I have just lost my dad and haven't the mental concentration for anything elaborate. Just a simple yes or no and a few brief comments will help me the most. Thanks.

Our goal is just to get as much out of the bible as we can. This is the first time that I will lead a bible study and will most likely turn into a permanent thing. I am really nervous because I want to do good. Does anyone have any web sites that can help me to prepare or any good study `websites? Thanks.

PS. Please pray for me.

I feel this may be dangerous but I like it. Especially when I wear them with my black mini-skirt. I get the funniest looks from people, especially the men. I'm afraid one of them is going to get a neck strain or trip over his own feet because he's so busy watching me.

I do like to be seen but I don't want anybody to get hurt.

shouldt hate Voodoo or Hoodoo or even diasporic African traditional Religions? I mean We were enslaved and Christianity was forced upon us. We had no choice but to choose jesus at fear of being lynched, Whipped and/or tortued. We had to hide our practices and thats how we have modern day Santeria and/or Voodoo. But all inall this is our culture and our heritage. This worked for our people and continues to work for our people. There was no devil involved. This is not devil worship as Christians will have you believe. YOu are worshiping Yahway and Jesus, these are jeweish/Hebrew names not some universal name. These were the names the hebrews gave their God. While I do respect the jewish God/Gods I also love and respect My African Ones. DOnt preach to me either on here! African Practices and religion was around way b4 Christianity ever was even thought of. YOu came along and spread you superiority complex on your followers!

There are so many different views on this subject, even from church to church. But is there anywhere in the Bible that actually says it's a sin? Or is it all in how you celebrate (satanic ritual: sin; going door-to-door dressed up with your kids: not a sin)?

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

Why do some people feel the need to preach the bible, attempt to discredit science, or condemn people to hell every time they answer a question? Does God keep a tally of people's internet proselytizing? Would it hurt just to chill out on the religious overtures? Do they think it wins converts or do they just do it to aggrivate normal people?

Daniel said-"Some will be in abhorance forever, and some in everlasting life." Daniel 12 vs 2

we have grace when we let the Messiah into our life-as promised in Daniel also-he even tells when Messiah will come and return-and so far he is half right-after the coming of days 3 and a half years into the false Messiah's reign-chapter 6 & 9 and more

Jesus the Messiah as promised Matthew chapter 1 and Isaiah 52vs13-53vs12 All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all.

Hell Revelation 20vs 15 and verse 10 too- "and whosoever was not found written in th book of life was cast into the lake of fire." "And shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

Jesus offers grace-undeserved favor-for 1 sin will get you into hell gnashin teeth forever-the sin of unbelief-He offers you true love and friendship-why not yeild-i wouldnt as a proud Jew who didnt know God and worshipped money and other things--read Revelation 3vs19&20Bsaved!

Also there is not one bit of proof for Mohammed as a prophet, Christ means Messiah and hes spoken of in Isaiah , where as Mohammed is no where, because hes false

Dear God,
If you exist, I think you are just about the biggest prick that ever manifested itself to any species concievable. If I were you I would destroy me completely and totally, right now, because otherwise, when I see you I'm gonna kick you in the nuts. It would be worth the trip to hell.

Millions of people feel this way, and none of us have been smited by the wrath of God. In fact many I know that feel this way not only lived healthy productive lives, but lived them to venerable ages.
Could this be considered repeatable evidence?
