I don't know about Christians, but there is no Muslims atheists. You either believe or you don't. If you happen to be born to a Muslim parents and you do not believe/refuse the religion, you are a Muslim in name only. You cannot trick God, who knows what's in your heart, then you are an atheists since God is the one who accepts your worships and deeds. Bottom line, Islam recognizes Christianity and Judaism, in general, they might be branches too, all respected. Atheists are the ones who worship any other than The God or do not believe there is God at all.

Atheism has spawned out of Christianity, so although not being a religion as such, you can see why people would think that it is a religion.
Atheists were born due to then unsatisfactory tenants of Christianity - the main tenant being which even the most devout of Christian finds hard to get his or her head around - Trinity!
Trinity is the biggest deception in this world which is driving people away from religion - God is one and has no Partner! This is what all Abrahamic religions have taught which can not be disputed! God is the only one worthy of worship! You cannot not take up any deities up against him even if they are Great Prophets!
Look at the Christian world and the empires it created - they thrived on divide and conquer - which is exactly what they have done which Jesus - Divided him and conquered you! You the people who have accepted this even though you truly know in the bottom of you heart that it makes no sense.
People I urge you to awake from this deception and Pray and Glorify God alone and put up no deity up against him or in his place.

There is none. An atheist is an atheist is an atheist. There is no Christian Atheist or Muslim Atheist if they were Christians or Mulsims they wouldn't be atheists.

I don't think there is a difference in a true atheist. But there are Christian haters and Muslim haters. This is the difference.

Atheists means that you dont believe in God, so you wouldn't be Muslim or Christain.
Do you mean Agnostic (don't know if there is a God or not?), that would make more sense?

They are neither christian or muslim if they don't believe in god they are just atheists at that point. and they are the same.

An athiest is a person who does not belive in the Almighty God and do not accept Jesus as their savior. So to answer your question, there is no difference. Neither one accepts Jesus as their savior or serves the Almighty God.
