Our goal is just to get as much out of the bible as we can. This is the first time that I will lead a bible study and will most likely turn into a permanent thing. I am really nervous because I want to do good. Does anyone have any web sites that can help me to prepare or any good study `websites? Thanks.

PS. Please pray for me.

First, make sure that you are actually ready to take this on for yourself. Pray that the Lord will show you what it is He wants you to teach. You are taking on an encredible responsibility and I will be praying for you. Only God can tell you what your topic will be. He will move you in the dirrection He wants you to teach.

God bless you.

How exciting for you! I use to teach also, it's a real blessing . First I suggest you teach from Proverbs 31:10-31, The Virtuous Woman, it's a guide for us to be the woman the Lord wants us to be. Also get the book "I am a woman by God's Design" by Beverly LaHaye. It's a wonderful book. Here is a web site for you too

You can also just type in bible studies and there are quite a few sites you can go to. I hope this helps!

I know there are books out there like Getting a Grip on the Basics... these cover various things.

I am doing a study for college aged adults and am doing apologetics. But I am writing the course myself.

You could pick a book in the Bible, such as Ruth and go through it, or pick a subject, and use a concordance or Thompson Chain Reference Bible... which follows though by subject.

Go to a Christian bookstore, too. One is Berean and another is Family Christian Books.

I ask you to please pray about this. It is a good thing to do what you are going to do, but USE the Bible for any help you need. A teacher is as only good as their knowledge. Do not depend on a website for instruction. You can read something from a website but understanding it is something else. The information is as only good as the one who knows the subject. Use the Bible I say again, as it is the Word of God, and it is what we use to teach, reprove, and for correction.

I will pray for you and you will do fine in the Name of Jesus. You might try Beth Moore or Kay Arthur web sites - they are both really great women to learn from. I hope this helps some. Blessings to you.

will pray for you. practice a few times before leading the first class. remember when one does their best this is all one can do. after the first couple of times this will become easier. remember also these are your friends and fellow church members who are there to learn with you. relax and make this an enjoyable time of seeking more wisdom and knowledge for all.
