Sorry, the PC pressure on US scientists has produced this so-called proof, same as the fat gene, the depression gene and others. the pressure from the queer organisations has resulted in a forced acceptance of the abnormal.
This pressure started when the queer groups started to tell the public the half truth about the existence of homosexuality in other mammals. A half truth because it's absolutely correct. What they didn't mention was that when the herd/flock/pack discovers the abberant animal, they tear it apart - not such a good advert is it.
Religions, for some unaccountable reason, stumbled across the main issues centuries ago. That it meant no reproduction was possible, that it had a great tendency to cause disease, and that it was "against nature". The most important bit must be the reproduction angle. No kids, no adults, no religion. the priests might go hungry - heaven forbid :-)
However, if you believe that the bible is the divine word of God, then you can't argue any of it, no matter whether you think it ridiculous, wrong or whatever. It saus X so you do X. Matter closed.
Religions also have to consider the family structure the promote. In the interests of society, a family should consist of the biologically natural combination of father (hunter/defender), mother (breeder, rearer and when necessary, defender) and children (continuation of the species). Add to that the declaration by God that homosexuality is an abomination and you have no choice but to exclude them from all society.
needless to say, the queers dislike this argument and prefer to continue deceiving people about how "nice" and "normal" it is.

Several religions have no issue with homosexuality - some Native American Traditional Practices, for example, allowed a young person to select their own gender role (which had nothing to do with their physical gender) during the coming of age process - a person who chose a different role than their physical gender was often viewed as "having two spirits" and was usually groomed for the position of a spiritual leader. A number of other seemingly primitive tribes share the view that a homosexual person is a person who walks between two worlds - and is more capable of bridging the gap between the physical and spiritual worlds. It is only the unevolved unelightened religions that can't seem to get past xenophobia.

Cause people like to nit pick at the bible when they find something they don't like and don't agree with. The find a sentence or two that relates to the topic and they use it for all they can get out of it.
The bible was written by man, I would say those who wrote it must have had a problem with gay people.
I have found that most of the ones who nit pick about homosexuality, they don't follow much if anything in the bible until they find a sentence that comes in handy. Like if they don't like gay people they find a line that says homosexuality is a sin.

Simple.

Medical science is new, religion is old. If you come with a new religion, you will surely proves your superiority to others by accepting homosexuality.

Religion is against it.
In the Bible it is a command that a man cannot lie with another man as he lies with a woman and also vice versa.
Having sex within marriage is god given, b'coz begetting children is a giift fron heaven. It is given so in the book of psalms or proverbs, i don't know.Though human instincts may be natural.

You know what, because as many holy books say, they say that a marriage and love is only between man and a woman, i dont know why but i accept homosexuality i dont mind that at all. You see, science is fact and defeats religion in my opinion.

Blind Ignorance! NO effort at empathy! And correction RELIGION is not against it CHristianity is against it. IN other cultures and religions Homosexuals are revered in spiritual work because they tap into both their feminine and masculine energies.

We are made of body, mind, and spirit.
Humans are trying to find something within themselves.
The balance between the two aspects of the Lifeforce we
understand as the masculine and feminine.
But they are doing it through external means. Dressing up, acting
out, and sexual experimentation.
This is something that must be done within. By the way we
treat others.
The Serenity prayer is a good affirmation for finding this
balance.

Because it contradicts what they've said in the past. God wouldn't make people biological sinners. I don't think they've even scratched the surface.. I think that the average religious person has almost no exposier to actual homosexuality and understands almost nothing about it.

I have no problem with homosexuality but even if it is acceptable in our society I still feel that the physical part of it is really abnormal... I can understand the psychological part... I mean loving someone from the same sex etc.

This is why religion does not deal with these stuffs... all religions are perfect...
