Since God has no physical form, which means “it’ has no brain to produce ‘love’ chemicals, how is ‘it’ able to love anyone?

Is God maybe just a ‘power’ or ‘force’ we can ‘tap’ into through ritual, magick and meditation?

What are your thoughts on this and what’s the ‘source’ of your thoughts (where did you get the information to answer this question)?

Come on, Jesus and Christianity are NOT the only kids on the block! All religions have equal validity.

What is the definition of atheist? And how is it that you have decided to brand yourself as one? Is it because you are tired of the hypocricy of religious order, or is it because you truly believe there is no higher power? And do you know where the term atheist came from. It came from the reformers. Basically to be an atheist was to question the concepts of how religion believes in god. Atheism was used to define christians, jews catholics. Each sect would call other religions this if they didnt believe in their faith in it's entirety.Maybe it is not that you dont believe in something higher. Maybe it is that you believe in something higher than what men try to force upon you. I call myself neither. Because you do not have to categorize yourself just so that someone can understand who you are to them. But who you are to yourself. I say I am all an atheist, a buddhist, a christian, a paganist. Because it is all the same.

I would like to preface by saying that I have respect for all religions and whatever religion you practice is fine by me as long as you dont interfere with other people going about their lives. My question is for the Christians who post odd things on this site such as "Jews are fools they dont know that Jesus is God and Jews are all mistaken blah blah blah"
Im assuming youre intelligent so allow me answer intelligently. The Jewish people received the Torah from God some 3300 years ago. This was a historic occurence that God clearly said will never be repeated again in the history of the universe. He appeared and spoke to 600,000 adult males from the Jewish people. He told them that he is giving them the Torah and He is their God. They accepted Him whole heartedly and said they will do all He asks of them. It says in that Torah that God will not exchange the Jewish ppl for another nation nor will He give a new Torah.

I have tried and tried to live a palin, simple life but things like money, personalities, relationships keep me from being where I want to be. I think that my ideal life is doable but every time I get close to the ideal I have in my heart something happens and I have to move in another direction. What can I do to be the person I long to be, a writer, musician, gentle person, who lives his life in harmony with the natural world

Since love is just a chemical reaction inside your brain, do you look for a partner that you desire because of ‘love’ or one that you desire because of ‘lust’?

Why?

I am just looking for your opinion; I’m not trying to change your beliefs, since my beliefs are condemned by most ordinary people anyways. (And no-one really changes their beliefs because of a site like this…)

This weekend I went on a business retreat. After sunday worship I was baptised. I just wanted to share the news with the everyone.I am so excited about my new refound relationship with the Lord. I began one before and I turned my back on Him. Is there any advice anyone has for me on how to remain strong and not waiver in my beliefs? I am starting a new church this week. I pray all the time, without God, I know that nothing is possible. I feel so giddy with excitment, I could burst!

Why would anyone advocate other people should lie about what they believe?

Why would thumpers suggest or demand those who disagree with them should sin (lie)? Isn't demanding others sin also a sin?
