Death is not the end. It's just another phase to life. Gods ways are not our ways.

The Lord cares about everyone. There is a reason for everything that happens in this world. And we don't know everything that is happening in those families lives right now or even before the shootings. I do know that through our mess there is a mess-age. And that is not something everyone is capable of seeing now or ever but it is the truth. Also, as sad as it is that those families are without their children right now, if indeed they are true believers in the Lord, then they are in such a better place right now. God bless them and their families.

God gave us instructions. We don't follow them, then we blame him for what happens. He's just as grieved about all the pain in the world as we are, if not more so. The thing is, he sees a bigger picture. He knows there is a constant war between good and evil and who will win once everything he has planned has come to pass. We all die. ALL of us. Those girls who went to the next life are not feeling any pain. Their families do, but God has a plan for them, too, and comfort that only he knows how to give. Someday they'll meet up again, I'm sure of that. I've experienced a lot of loss in my lifetime, but I see there is just something unimaginably wonderful in the distance, so I'm holding on for that.

This is such a good question which goes to prove that there is no god.
If there were the perfect god then why would he put people to misery. What is this thing of higher purpose etc...? Why is god not the kind sweet person we think he should be? Why should there be poverty and killings etc. So all this proves that there is no god. God is supposed to be for everyone so how come some people are more happy than others. And if it depends on their actions then how come god cannot make everyone do good actions.

This is a paragraph from a book i read..i hope it solves ur doubts~~~~~
“If god loves us and has the power to change our situation, He would prevent our pain, wouldn’t He?”
The camerlegno said “Well… if God loves us, and He can protect us, He would have to. It seems He is either omnipotent and uncaring, or benevolent and powerless to help.”
“Do you have children, Lieutenant?”
Chartrand flushed. “No, signore.”
“Imagine you had an eight-year-old son… would you love him?”
“Of course.”
“Would you do everything in your power to prevent pain in his life?”
“Of course.”
“Would you let him skateboard?”
Chartrand did a double take. The camerlegno always seemed oddly “in touch” for a clergyman. “Yeah, I guess,” Chartrand said. “Sure, I’d let him skateboard, but I’d tell him to be careful.”
“So as this child’s father, you would give him some basic, good advice and then let him go off and make his own mistakes?”
“I wouldn’t run behind him and mollycoddle him if that’s what you mean.”
“But what if he fell and skinned his knee?”
“He would learn to be more careful.”
The camerlegno smiled. “So although you have the power to interfere and prevent your child’s pain, you would choose to show your love by letting him learn his own lessons?”
“Of course. Pain is part of growing up. It’s how we learn.”
The camerlegno nodded. “Exactly.”

I disagree that this is more ammunition for the atheist argument. Such an assertion shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the nature of God, the purpose of this life, and the eternal nature of the human soul.
If God stepped in and forced us to do His will...would we have free agency? Could we be free to make decisions? Nope. If we could not make decisions, could we ever learn and grow into responsible, mature individuals? Of course not. It would completely thwart the purpose of this life.

Funny how such a loving god behaves exactly like a being that doesn't exist at all. Undetectable, taking no action in the face of disaster, no effort whatsoever made to rescue any of his "beloved" children so they could live long enough to convert to the "TRUE WAY" (whatever the hell that is).

Its called fate. God planned it that way. Not because he liked to, but because of a deeper meaning. If you want to be an atheist then go. I will keep believing in God even if im the only christian left in the whole universe.

For the same reason "it" didn't answer the hundreds of millions of prayers for "it" to stop Hitler before he was able to kill 30+ million during WWII. Either this god is powerless, heartless, both, or does not exist at all.
