Was it any different for Jesus and the Apostles? Only those with humble heart could understand and believe. Today's scribes and Pharisees have as much venom as those Christ confronted.
Remember that Christ blest those who endured persecution. So just think how big a favor they do us.

I don't believe that people hate mormons. It seems that any time someone disagrees with another on this site it is viewed as hatred.
Mormons are fundamentally off the reservation when compared to traditional christianity. If you do not believe that Jesus Christ was the one and only begotton son of God, then you cannot be considered Christian. Also, Christianity demands the believe in one God, and that God is spirit. Mormons believe that God is a man and that other men can achieve the position of God

I myself do not agree with the Mormon religion due to the fact that Revelations at the very end warned that if anybody added to the Bible they would receive the plagues stated in revelations....but I do feel that Mormons do have a very bright light in them and they serve with such Loyal hearts.....they are the purest form of human that I have seen.....that light that they shine it is so bright that the darker people feel so uncomfortable they feel naked and they feel that they could never reach that level so the demeanor that they respond with is so negative with jealousy and they don't even know it because the light confuses them......another thing is that most people on the earth are selfish and do not comprehend the Mormon ways of spending time witnessing for God these people are on their own mission not God's so they will hate anyone who tries to get in the way of their agenda,....it boils down to selfishness........we were created to be in relationship with God and to invite people from this earth to be in the family too....there is no other agenda in God's eyes.
My friend please consider what I said about Revalations,...at the very end....read it and really think about how the Book of mormons is an addition to the Bible even though they claim it is not. I only speak truth.
God Bless

My problem with Mormons, is that although you say you believe in God and you accept him. Why do you offer the doctrine of a dead man more then the words Already spoken in the bible?
If you truly believe in God and in Jesus Christ, then the book of Mourmans is not necessary, Because then the Bible would be sufficient for you.
You may personally and truly really mean you love God, but those who are Higher in power in the Mormons, Faith, are not as interested In God as you may believe. There is more to it then they are telling you.
Do a little reasearch of your own and you will find some very suprising things about that particular faith.
Godbless and I hope this helps.

i imagine that mistreating all of us contained in the call of God (or perhaps in the different case) is misguided. human beings do not realize Mormonism, and so as that they worry it. they ought to renowned that Mormons preserve their own better suited than any non secular crew i recognize of. at the same time as i became a baby, the father and mom of my classmate and his 2 siblings died, and the Mormons delivered in someone to be the youngsters' mum or dad, paid off the living house, fed and knowledgeable those youthful ones, and despatched them to school. What different non secular crew would do this? NONE that i recognize. So those who hate Mormons are only ignorant, and they prefer to finish a touch homework.

It isn't the fact that you believe in Jesus, it is that some say you believe in a different Jesus. That God the Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Ghost are three different beings would make you "not a christian" in some people's opinion. There are many other doctrinal differences as well that some people just can't accept.
My advice, if you believe in what your church teaches, who cares how others classify you. It is their problem, not yours. Besides, I am not sure why so many other "Christians" spend so much time deciding who is or isn't a follower of Christ, as if they have some authority to do so.

Mormon teachings are not based on following Jesus Christ and the New Testament as much as they follow the teachings of Joseph Smith Jr. Such as...
- You are taught that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three different Gods. Actually, the trinity is like ice, water, steam; all the same with different functions; only One God. The living God.
- Good Mormon males grow up to be Gods and get their own planet to rule...
- The Holy Bible tells us not to add to or take away from (Rev. 22:18-21).
- Mormons are taught in order to receive salvation; you must follow the book of Mormon, which is based on works, not the Grace that God has given us (New Testament - Holy Bible).
Another huge concern...that JSJ couldn't remember his life changing "encounter." He changed the date, who appeared and what was said three different times. Doesn't that concern you?
I don't hate anyone...including the Mormons...I just know you are being miss-lead and your eternity is at stake.
Any self proclaimed prophet, I have serious concerns about.

I don't hate Mormons. I really don't hate a religious group until they cross my boundaries. Most people just don't see things your way, because of that...it's 'fair' for them to ridicule and criticize. They want more people like them and they think that they are the only ones who are right.

when I was a baby I was baptised as a Mormon, and grew up in a pentacostal church, my mother was confused I think. Any who, I don't hate Mormons, I have some that are truly wonderful friends of mine, as well as Jehovah's Witnesses. It boils down to this babe, you stand firm in what you believe and to heck with all the rest of it, ok. After all, when it is all said and done, whatever our belief system, we are the ones that have to face our Lord's glory by ourselves and for ourselves.
