Because they are the marketing plans of christians and christianity.
They (christians) do not care about other religions, just like the muslims.
Both seem to want to take ownership of GOD and none of them cares that other people also have rights.
Discrimination in the name of religion or GOD, that is what I call it.

Well Michael, when God and Religion are mentioned in English or anywhere in the entire Western Hemisphere it's a good bet and great odds that the religion being mentioned is Christianity. The assumption therefore is usually valid and correct. You're correct about the equality of validity amongst religions, but let's face it. Christianity is still the most popular kid on the block.

People just seemed to be wired that way. It's the same thing if I say "non-christian", I get a lot of people thinking it just means athiests when I also mean Jews, Hindus, Buddists and so on. Our minds seem to just jump to that conclusion (that religion and god added in means christianity and non-christian means athiest) especially when the question is negative.

There is only one truth and all religions do not have equal validity. Only a non believer would think that way.

Some people(like me) mention Jesus and God, because that is who their God is......If you want to answer a religious question concering Jesus and Christianity and your god is allah, or whoever, you are going to mention the god you worship right? Why should it be any different for Christians?

well, true.. just in america the christian faith very much dominates. I mean , like me .. try finding pagan wrapping paper LOL Though the decorations are easy, since santa was made from oden and christmas is yule reincarnate, easter is ostara-like, and halloween is samhain.. most of the decorations coincide.. like the holly, the misteltoe, the tree, easter eggs, easter bunny, etc... I am not wiccan though .. sorry just had to say that lol.

No question there, my friend. But the majority of this world is still Christian. So your chances are awfully high with regards to the first through 20th person to hear your statement or read your question will be Christian and thus reference the faith they are familiar with.

Because the whole bulk of criticism and derision have Jesus & Christianity as their targets. Very seldom Allah is put under question. People are just scared of the jihaddists and don't hate them as much as Christians are hated. Why? Go figure.
