Because you can go to Church forever, but if you don't have a personal relationship with the Savior, then it doesn't matter. There are many reasons to go to church. Many people get caught up in religion, and that's not what it is all about. Religion is the institution man created to worship God. Since man created it, it can be corrupted. Many bad things have been done by religions throughout the ages because of this. It's not about rituals and music and fellowship. It's supposed to be about a relationship with Almighty God through Jesus Christ.
No God, no peace...

Because...It's a good hiding place. Most people assume that only good people go to church. Not only are those two priests an example, but you also had the BTK killer in Wichita that was a deacon in a local church. I'm sure the list could gone on and on.

Why do we have evil people outside of the church? There are wolves in sheep's clothings and we can't escape them. All of us have evil in us though, because no one but God is truly good. We can all be selfcontrolled though and change. Hope we make it. Acts 2:38 says it best.

Evil people can use religion as a disguise, it's provides a great script and act for them to slip into whenever they want to go undetected...I'd stay away from church if were you as there are too many using it as a front.

The church is not a museum of saints. It is a hospital for (all of us) sinners.

Because some people believe that they should act like christians, but go outside of the church, and then they will be whoever they want to be. It is like "An individual" They want to express their individual, but be a hypercrite and go to church.

They are put there (as in any other place) by the laws of nature for Comparison; so that when we do meet the Good people, we will be able to Identify them.....and give them the due appreciation.
