Because science is a self-correcting methodolgy, whereas religion cannot self-correct and any proof of a failing is proof that brings the whole house of cards crashing down.

Are you kidding? I've been in the biochem dept. of a secular university for several years now. Religious frauds are the first thing to be jumped upon (check any creation v. evolution forum). Scientific frauds, on the other hand, are often covered up, and more regrettably, sometimes revealed years later. Peer reviewing, however, when it works properly, attempts to combat that.

Exposing fraud implies concepts such as empirical verification, and evidence. Religion by its very nature cannot undergo any test of either fraud, or validity. Religious propositions are "true" or "false" only in a totally subjective sense. One set of religious tenets are believed to be "true" by John Doe, and a completely contradictory set is believed to be "true" by his neighbor Harry Foe. AND NEITHER JOHN NOR HARRY CAN EVER CREATE CRITERIA TO UNDO THE TENETS OF THE OTHER.

Imagine 2 people. One says, "My favorite color is red." And the other counters: "No, no, my favorite color is blue!" They may THINK they're arguing, but they're not.

Simple sociological answer. Science is a competitive process. Researchers try to be the first to solve problems, and their research is submitted to peer review. You get science brownie points for exposing bad research.
Churches, on the hand, stick together. If one priest does bad, it makes the whole Church look bad. So the institution of the Church has a vested interest in keeping things quiet.

Science constantly questions and corrects itself, that's the way it works. You make a guess, then you look for evidence to support that guess. Many of the guesses are necessarily incorrect. Finding out which ones are correct and which ones are not is the heart of science. Religion on the other hand, concerns itself not with being correct, but being "right", from start to finish, regardless of whether reality agrees with it or not.

i'm uncertain what form of element you are attempting to make. All you're offering this is info that some people have faith evolution is fake without making any form of arguments of your man or woman. The arguments on those particular web content element many times to unwell-examined or fraudulent specimens chosen by using scientists who have been possibly wanting to placed up for investment and/or popularity. not one of the arguments you have listed attempt to undermine the needed genetic mechanisms at the back of evolution, nor do they attempt to describe why the Earth because it is suggested is so antagonistic to a rote creationist account. the superb any creationist could wish to make a case for is intelligently-speeded up evolution or periodic bouts of creation, yet seeing as to how maximum "smart layout" advocates are somewhat pushing Jesus and a literal, present day-day radical Protestant interpretation of Genesis, we the two comprehend that may no longer going to ensue.

As J.P. said (above), scientific method is self-correcting. Religion is more like a railroad that doesn't allow track inspectorsl
