LarkNews.com, which is like a Christian answer to the Onion and very funny for anyone who's familiar with Evangelical Christianity, published that satire about kids networking online to avoid the homes that give away tracts on Halloween.

Does this make you think of anything? Giving away tracts, getting "tracted," being made to feel guilty about Halloween, finding tracts in your kid's bag when you were looking for razor blade apples, etc?

Just asking. :-)

Today, in collegiate areas of Boston/Cambridge, USA (which includes practically half the cities!) I noticed in different university areas two young females, seemingly students, who were wearing hijabs but also tight jeans. One walked with a noticable (natural) bumping. Both were wearing regular blouses, which were not suggestive but also did not hide their curves. I saw a girl similarly dressed over the weekend. this makes me curious: Is wearing the hijab becoming fashion-chic with young American (and maybe elsewhere?) non-Muslim women these days? Or are some young, college age Muslim girls somehow rationalizing their wearing the hijab without their other clothing being loose and hiding hiding their female form?

Do you suppose that for the first couple of thousand years or so, everyone in heaven will be running around in abject terror screaming their heads off while God says, "Calm down! Calm down! It's just me!"

The Hebrew word translated into English as “heaven” is samayim, but this is not a singular noun. Instead, it is a plural word and would best be translated as “heavens".

The angel Raphael in the book of Tobit. This is a book from the original Septuagint that the Protestants threw out. How could this be?

We may need to reserect the order of the Knights Templar.... The ideals are nessacary to control the rise of Terrorism throughout the world. This is not a bash against Islam, but a a direct acknowledgemtn that the acts of those who use fear to indoctrinate others will no longer be tolerated....

I don't mind if you only read the parts of the bible that you like, but when I specifically state in a question that "I'm asking you guys to tell me something I haven't heard before--serious christians, please keep in mind that I'm only asking because I'm curious" do you not see that part? or do you diregard it because it's not in the new testament? Or are you just too ignorant and rude to know when to butt out? Did you read the whole question this time?

Not to be confused with John the Baptist. Whom did Jesus say would be considered least in the Kingdom of Heaven?

As on the other question I asked on this forum along the same lines, there will be no thumbs down. If you choose to act out of immaturity - or even outright meanness - it's entirely on you. I will, however, give a thumbs up to answers that have part or all of the answer.

Yes we all know the Bible and Quran were written. But what is your thought or do you not have a brain at all?
If i write a book and write in it that this book is true, does it become true?
Did the writers of the bible and quran fail to mention that they are works of fiction and any resemblance to anyone living or dead is coincidental?

This is just a chance to dig up some of that good Bible knowledge and understanding - just for fun!

There is a possibility of 2 answers on this one. I won't give a thumbs down - not even for disrespectful or otherwise ludicrous answers - because that's just not my style, but I will give a thumbs up to answers that have part or all of the answer.

Yes, God is testing you...as He does with Muslims and everyone on this planet...

The test is:
Will you bury yourself in hate, dispise, and "kufr" (disbelief) in the God's last guidance to mankind before Judgement Day, as you begin to jump to conclusions, judge, and create lies and mis-information about Islam and Muslims?

How can Christians not see this?

Other words to the song include: "went down in the waters of baptism and the old man was washed away" and "My heart was circumcised and I was made alive."

my husband and I have been seperated for a year now. We are working things out. While seperated I started going to a church with one of my friends and have fallen in love with the church. Now that my husband and I are getting back together he wants me to stop going to my new church of 5 months and find a new one with him. **Am I wrong not to want to change churches or should start fresh with him at a new church?

Not that I am at all unaware of this theory, but an answer to one of my last questions has shown me that there is a lot more to it than I knew about. Exploring and learning about all religious paths is kind of a strange hobby of mine, so I'm asking you guys to tell me something I haven't heard before--serious christians, please keep in mind that I'm only asking because I'm curious, not demon possessed (this time)
