Yes we all know the Bible and Quran were written. But what is your thought or do you not have a brain at all?
If i write a book and write in it that this book is true, does it become true?
Did the writers of the bible and quran fail to mention that they are works of fiction and any resemblance to anyone living or dead is coincidental?

Josh a history book may or maynot be accurate history. There might be propagandas in it which were written by the people who won or survived the war. As for the bible being a history book i seriously doubt that.

If you write a book... oh, say 3500 years of history, 1100 prophesies come to pass, over 1000 supporting documents with scientific authentication, 34 consistent accounts, and all that is written first supports what is written last... I might take it as truth. It is proven by non-secular scientists that not even a science fiction writer could have created a work of the magnitude of the Bible and, knowing the end from the beginning, have generated the consistencies and revelations of the Bible. But, if you think you can do it, give it a try and let me know when it's complete. I'll send it in for comparative analysis.

Actually the bible was written much like a History book as Luke was a historian. So if you want you can go check up on Christian history in the bible. It's a pretty good reference.

But sure you could close your ears to what Im saying and just pretend that we were all born yesterday and all of history is something Bush farted out.

Ifyou can't trust a history book to record history then what can you trust? I've seen plenty of evidence to support it's validity.

The Bible is the Word of God and will judge all human beings. So when we quote Bible verses as the answer, that is the highest authority that you will find..
You don't debate the Bible, you obey it. The word judges us, we don't judge the word. Even if you don't believe, it will eventually judge you.. THE BOOKS IN REVELATION ARE THE 66 BOOKS OF THE BIBLE THAT WILL JUDGE US.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

I've had the same thought my self from time to time. But here's how it works.

Religion is based on history. History is something passed forward from our ancestry to us in a media of some form. Usually written.
To have faith, first we need a reason Eternal life is as good as any. Okay, now how do we get there. Well this guy said......(bible). So, in order to make the path more effective we must entrench ourselves in it's text and (attempt) to live by it's law.
The problems is that we tend to lose our objectivity in this. What as 'faith' becomes " fact " and all else is seen as "delusional". It's not pretty, I've seen it.
well, I hope this has answered your question, best wishes.

God wrote The Holy Bible through some 40 authors. I'll settle for The Holy Bible, the only true holy book written to mankind. All other so-called holy books are false religions created and inspired by Satan.

I can argue for Islam without using the Qur'an, but what's the point?
Am I going to be converting people or even changing their minds about my religion on this site? No
So its better to use Qur'anic quotations in case other Muslims are reading on here or people who are open-minded.

Also realize the Bible, Torah and the Qur'an are Allah's words. Muslims believe that (although we believe changes were made to the first 2) and we respect them accordingly.
So what can be stronger than God's words? Nothing!

Yes we do have a brain. Otherwise we wouldnt be alive right now. Books dont always become true when you say it is, it could have been lies or you had lack of evidence, which can lead to the book not being true. Maybe to the last question. I dont know.

Your generalizing without proof. Many of the answers given aren't cut and paste scriptures. I'm sure it's convenient to think otherwise, but it's really not the truth. Anyone with eyes and the ability to read will know this in a matter of minutes upon visiting.

Well, ok. Go read both, read the Bible prefferably in Latin or Ancient Greek.

Until then, you are ignorant of both of these religions, other then "it's humbug". If you are really so interested in arguing with advocates of these two then atleast have the decency to learn what these two are about.

Otherwise it's like me arguing with a psychologist about psychology without knowing jack about the science.

Don't you want answers to have "sources" and "backups". Or, would you rather we "made things up" when it comes to divinity and the Words of God?

That's why there are 3 versions of the same Heavenly religion...because people throughout history have been putting in their own "thoughts" as though the Words of God weren't good enough....
