The angel Raphael in the book of Tobit. This is a book from the original Septuagint that the Protestants threw out. How could this be?

Protestants didn't actually throw it out. Protestants elected to follow the Masoretic text rather than the Septuagint text.

We all know the Archangel Michael, and we also know the Angel Gabriel, but we never know about the angel Rafael. Who is Rafael? He was never mentioned in the whole bible and his duty as an angel never been explained. We Know that Michael is the Arc-Angel that stand in the presence of God and he is the Archangel that was assigned for the People of Israel. We know that Gabriel is the angel whose mission is a messenger of God and he appeared to Virgin Mary and To Daniel and to Zackariah and he is mentioned in several places in the Bible and has become familiar to those who read the Bible. We never heard of the angel Rafael. What exactly is his mission with respect to the incidents that took place in the Bible? He was not even once mentioned in any of the 66 books of the Bible. We read about Rafael, Azazel and many other angels not in the Bible. Is it because he is referred to in books written by people who took the style of the bible writing mentioned him as an angel makes him a real angel and worthy of respect. There is no angel worthy of respect except Jesus Christ himself. We do respect angels sent by God as an act of loving God who created them and sent them to do a certain mission, but as an angel, no one among angels is worthy of respect and admiration. Paul warned us not to follow angels who may have been fallen with Lucifer. I have read many books where the angel Rafael is mentioned, but not once in the Bible. We also know about Cherubim and Seraphim, but no Rafael.

Indeed, all the scripts for the TV show "Touched by an Angel" should also be thrown in there, for the same reason.

They should have thrown the rest of the junk out too. Do you seriously believe this biblical nonsense? Wake up.
