I know the Bibl has some stuff it inthat sounds silly. I know there is stuff that seems very hard to read literally, but why do people seem to think that when it comes to the Bible it is all or nothing? There are good things too, and many of the issues that people think are offensive usually are much less so when taken in context. The storeis are thousands of years old and contain many insights into the human condition as well as give what I think is a decent way to live. Not perfect, but relativly good.

I got a feeling I am gonna take a beating for this one, oh well.

most questions are answered in this manner:

q:blah blah blah
a: because the bible says so

why do people give answers if they aren't going to think about them and try and give some practical advice instead of a mindless answer like "because the bible says so"

If I'm openly gay? I mean, I'm as queer as a 3 dollar bill. I'm such a flamer that they tried to blame the California wildfires on me. Gay Paris' doesn't hold a candle to me.

Is that OK? I play a mean piano!

Do you think Jesus can help with anxiety and depression? I have social anxiety where I get panic attacks all the time, and I have depression. My life was miserable for last 3 years, you dont call that living you call that existing. My life is going no where, meaningless. I have agrophobia where I avoid all social situations possible. I dont remember the last time I felt happy and that I am worth something. I know that God and Jesus exist through everything Ive seen, everything I felt could'be only been God's work. Now I was raised in christian family but at age of 16 stopped comletely going to church and doing anything related to faith. I started drinking ,partying, doing somethings that I am not so proud off. And at age 18 I started having anxiety and depression. I stayed home most of the last 3 years, comletely stopped socializing. Now I can't even talk on the phone or go to grocery stores anymore. Can God help me with this if I will repent and let him in my heart?

Your perspective on divorce in a supposedly Christian household?

religion is one of the most heated debates of our time in my opinion. The debate on wether or not god exists and even debates on different beliefs depending on the church. What are your opinions on religion in general,or about god or gods? do you think that science proves or disproves the possiblity of a universal creator? Im not siding with anyone, i just want opinions.

it's not possible, and even if it is possible to know anything about god, you aren't going to discover anything by reading about it from a book, or attending a religious ceremony. maybe prophets were the real deal, maybe not, but just reading a book based on what they felt or doing what they say isn't going to let you experience that unimaginable force that's out there.

i don't think it's humanly possible to know anything about god, or allah, or yahweh, or anything like that. and i think that if anyone has said that they have experienced or seen or felt god, they need to wipe their mouth with some toilet paper.

Godfearers feel that you should repent now while you are alive.

Because in Hell you cannot repent. And Hell is forever!

Jesus is a gift for your sins, accept Him, and serve Him.

Why regret it later?
