When Adam sinned he was a perfect man.... He passed on this sin to us ...
The Mosaic Law ( which was a tutor leading up to christ ) Involved the offering of animal sacrifice to show repentance and recieve forgiveness of sins..
The Bible states that the blood of animals can not make up for the sin of perfect Adam ..
Jesus was a perfect man ... His obedience to God ( even when under pressure from Satan ) proved that man can be obedient..
When Jesus Returned to heaven after he died on the Torture stake he offerd up the value of that sacrifice to God on behalf of mankind...
Which allows mankind to approach God in prayer through Jesus and ask for the forgiveness of our sin and salvation...
" God Loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten son in order that everyone exercising faith in him may not be destroyed but have everlasting life "
Only God can forgive us our sins when we exercise faith in Jesus perfect Sacrifice ...
Just as the Israelites were forgiven when they made sacrifice...

The main reason God sent Jesus was to die for our sins. There is no greater love than laying down your life for a friend.
Priests are human,,,hello,,,they cannot neutralize anything.

Jesus came so that we could be saved and go to heaven. The priest cannot neutralize sin.

The main point Jesus was sent to the world was to save God's creation God created man who was a fallible being. God gave man the law not so that man could follow it but to show him that he could not and that man needed God.Now God being perfect could not join himself to sin by saying it was okay. The wages of sin was death and this price had to be met. God loved his creation even though man was sinful and God had a plan that would save his people God came to the world as a man to be tempted and to overcome sin and to be tortured and die for all of those who accept his atonement for there sins. Only Christ was perfect as he was God in the flesh and only he could overcome sin and die in your place and he is the only way to salvation no mere mortal sinful man can forgive your sins.

Jesus was sent by God to forgive us of our sins by dying in our place. A priest has NO authority to forgive sin. That's one of the many ways in which the catholic church is wrong.

Jesus Chirst - Gods only son - was sent to die for us on the cross and through his suffering open the way for us to be saved and our sins forgiven so we can enter heaven if we only belive in him ...
NO priest can "neutralize" any sins .....
you have free will and its your choice to sin or not, its also your free will to stop sinning and follow God

Have you ever read John 3:16-17, Jesus tells why He was sent.
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Ordained ministers of the Word cannot forgive sins but are given divine authority to forgive sins, hence they do it through God (the Holy Spirit).
John 20
21Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." 22And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. 23If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."

It's just arbitrary metaphysical garbage that people made up in order to make you a slave. Demand real answers and facts, not feelings and myths. You can't base your life, or even the smallest action, on a mystery. If no one can know, then its got to go!

Priest are only preachers, that tell you what the Bible says, they have no power to forgive sins. only God has that power...
