Godfearers feel that you should repent now while you are alive.

Because in Hell you cannot repent. And Hell is forever!

Jesus is a gift for your sins, accept Him, and serve Him.

Why regret it later?

Wait, I understand that if you repent and accept Jesus as your savior, than once saved always saved, to me I am free to do what I want inside the law and never repent again unless I start doing stuff that is against the law (Gods Law), so I don't have to recognize any religion to repent and ask for forgiveness. Therefore you are assuming you will go to heaven, have you repented

I'll turn your question around: why live your whole life in fear of going to hell, and basing all of you life choices on that fear, when there is no proof of any kind that there is life after death, and no proof there is either heaven or hell?

"Not repenting" doesn't mean you're a bad person. Lots of people live honorable, moral lives without believing in god, or praying to him to forgive their sins. If there really is a god, do you really think he'd send such a good, moral person to hell just because that person never prayed to him for forgiveness, especially since there's no proof at all that a god to pray to exists? Would your supposedly kind, loving god really say something like, "Sorry, you were a really good person and lived a moral life and helped others lots of times...but because you didn't pray to me, you're going to hell." Is that the god you believe in?

Why do you assume that scaring people will make them believe something? This is coercion at its finest, beyond being illogical.

You have no more proof for your beliefs than any others do; also, you should say "Christians" rather than "Godfearers" as there are many many gods and not all belief systems are the same as yours.

Where do the unconverted dead go?

They are dead just like the other dead.

You make the teachings of Christ of no effect by your man-made traditions.

One man-made tradition is "good people go to heaven when they die and bad people go to hell when they die."

Isn't it time we transcended the fables of childhood?

No one has gone to heaven except the Son of man (John 3:13).

And hell?

Where are they?

In their graves!

"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth, they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation" (John 5:28-29).

The King James "damnation" is from lthe Greek word "krisis", meaning "contesting".

The "contesting" takes place in a second physical life after the 1000 years. The vast majority of mankind is not being called now.

Some of the ones who are "contesting" in the future will still not repent. And they will cease to exist. The words "you only live twice" will be only too true for them.

Considering that the bible god is a baby murdering, emotion driven being who has temper tantrums like a 6 year old....and also considering that heaven is an eternity worshipping a god with an overblown ego succeptible to jealous rages of insanity...I think heaven would be just as much of a hell as hell is..

I would gladly burn in hell with the devil, at least you know where the guy stands, he is evil no doubt about it....yet the bible god will lie to you saying "I am all loving, and I am all caring...I lovessss my creations"....but as soon as you turn your back STABBB!!! the bible god will murder you and toss your soul aside like a piece of worthless meat.

I would guess that it is you who will have the regret...when you are sitting in heaven watching your god kill babies.

Funny you should bring it up. This Hindu guy just got through telling me how I'm in big trouble if I don't accept certain principles his gods have handed down to humanity. Then there was this Pagan lady who insists Zeus is THE biggie, and the Muslim man who knows the only way to heaven is through Allah, and ... oh well, you see the problem right? What makes you right and them wrong? And please don't tell me about your scriptures. They've all got a set of those things - some even older than yours!
