Heya...

So to answer your questions:

1. Quotes can definitely be found. Search up the Dalai Lama or Sogyal Rinpoche.
2. Learning about Buddhism takes place in stages. Listening, practicing, experiencing and then understanding are all very important. It is about experential learning.
3. No attendance required. A good buddhist is one who integrates his or her life with the teachings of Buddha.
4. We don't believe in a supreme being largely because we believe everyone has Buddha nature and can seek enlightenment.

Hope this helps.

Just go to your search engine & click on 'Buddhism,' in order to get more info.

Yes, Buddhism has its own scriptures. They also have Temples too, though I don't know how often they are supposed to attend or on what days.

Although Buddhism does not believe in a Single Creator God, Who Is Supreme Being Over the entire universe, Buddhism does have numerous non-creator gods/goddesses.

Can you add that quote to your question? Maybe I've come across it. You could start reading the Dhammapada, lots of quotes come out of that. You can go to: http://www.accesstoinsight.org/tipitaka/index.html

Click on "Dhammapada" under "Sutta Pitaka"

Happy searching!

Buddhists do not believe in God. If you do not want to be with God after you die...you do not have to. That is the great thing about the free will.
