According to hadith, in the month of Ramadan I offer 8 raka's of prayer (salat - TAHAJJUD/TARAWIH) in the later part of the night followed by 3 raka's of Witr. Usually I offer Isha salat in early part of the night (between 2000 hours to 2359 hours). Am I in the right track in the light of Sunnah of our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH)? Can I term those 8 raka's TARAWIH? Because in the hadith it is not spelt out wheather it is TARAWIH or TAHAJJUD. I also know from hadith that the Prophet (PBUH) prayed TARAWIH in the mosque for three days only. Seeing the growing attendance and interest of the people, He stopped going to the mosque. Is this the same 8 raka's that He performed individually at night?
Please post me the detailed answear to remove confusion from my mind.

The devil must have influenced the writing of the bible because its content is now creating more non-believers than believers. The devil must have known humans would grow more and more skeptical and logical. The unrealistic and hard to believe stories writen in the bible appear to be fairtales by those not raised believing. I think god wants me to expose this imperfection and find more logical ways to expose people to him. What do you think?

has a doubt about some part of religion (be it the Bible or God) or asks what might be an odd-sounding question (to you) or professes to have a serious dislike of certain witnessing/preaching habits...why the assumption that they're "non-believers"? Unless they tell you that outright, you don't really know, now do you?

BTW, I'm not just talking about what happens here in YA...I'm asking about what happens in the real world, too.

For the past few days, i have been going crazy thinking about such things. I can't help it, and im going crazy thinking about it. What is life, is it real? I can understand that being here, in the physical form, is real. I've lived in the physical state for 23 years. When i die, what happens? Does the universe go on forever? Do we become some sort of energy for the purpose of life to go on? How did all this start? If life goes on and on and on FOREVER, and for ETERNITY, what the HECK does that mean? Who created ETERNITY? If there is a god, who created him? And who created the creator of god? Its hard to exaplin what im trying to say, but am i going crazy?
Do i need theraphy? lol HELP!!!

I've given it alot of thought and have come to the conclusion that I would probably find it terribly depressing and end up spending eternity commiting suicide over and over again.
How would you deal with it?

...on this site than there are believers? I would think that believers would be here to talk about Him and answer each other questions about other religions. Instead there are more non-believers that want to argue about God's lack of existence or our lack of proof than anything. Does anyone else think it's kinda strange that non-believers talk more about God here? I know that we all have the right to free speech and such, I'm just wondering why I find more non-believers in a religious chat than believers.

I'd also want to ask why we have to 'prove' that God existence versus you 'proving' that He doesn't? It's all about personal choice, personal opinion, personal faith. Believers have their faith, their God, to defend. It's a personal issue. Why do non-believers have to defend something that doesn't exist to them?

I Dont find any logic in the concept of GOD. If some one ask you a questions which you know well to answer you will never say its because of GOD. Insted if I ask you something which seience couldnot reveal till today will be answered as GOD. GOD was the answer for many questions yesterday. But not today. Tomorrow when human being can answer for all question including the secrets of universe 'will the concept of GOD will be there'?

There has been some talk in Washington that is believed to be priming US citizens for civilian sacrifice toward the war on terror. That sacrifice may be announced as religious profiling to stop radical Islam recruits in US prisons. To protect the US from terrorist attacks, would you support religious profiling?

People always say when people die "It was their time, god chose from them to join him" and at the same time people say the murderer sinned and he needs to ask forgiveness from god.

The Indian god Krishna too bears a tremendous resemblance to Jesus in the story of his mission and his divinity. He was the incarnation of the Indian's supreme god Vishnu (the preserver and protector of the world) in the womb of Devaki. The Hindoo prophet Bala predicted that a divine Savior would "become incarnate in the house of Yadu, and issue forth to mortal birth from the womb of Devaci (a Holy Virgin), and relieve the oppressed earth of its load of sin and sorrow." Upon Krishna's birth, a great chorus of angles proclaimed "In the delivery of this favored woman, nature shall have cause to exalt." His birth was indicated by a star in heaven. Although of royal blood, he was born in a cave. He was presented with gifts of sandalwood and perfumes. His foster father was told to flee and hide him lest king Kansa might take his life. King Kansa had ordered all male infants born on that night to be slain. One of his first miracles was the healing of a leper. He was later slain and this resulted in an eclipse of the sun and a black circle forming around the moon. Spirits were seen on all sides and he descended into hell, rose again, and ascended into heaven with many people being witnesses to his bodily accent. He will have a "second coming" in the future which his followers continue await. There are countless other similarities with what is known today as "Christianity" even though his religion was well establish centuries before the birth of Jesus . The accounts of Krishna's childhood agree quite closely with the apocryphal accounts of Jesus' childhood. In the ancient epic poems, Krishna is simply regarded as a great hero, it was not until about the 4th century BC that he was elevated to the position of a god

The US Government did a war with Iraq and stated that its main element was to destroy terrorist elements and to set a democratic government in Iraq.Right now Iraq is in shambles.
As long as Saddam was in power he did commit atrocities but there were no Shia - Sunni clashes. Now Saddam is gone ,A government is also set up.The American troops are In certain areas of Iraq and trying to find out extremist elements.
But what about the rest of the Iraqis? recent figures state that The Shia-Sunni clashes are happening every day you are fighting with each other and 50 people are dying every day .Meaning the Iraqis are killing amongst themselves. You say you have a peaceful religion then why all these hate amongst your own Sects?
Buddhist have to sects They never have killled amongst themselves, Jains have two sects they never have killed amongst themselves,850 million Hindus are divided into many sects none of them ever have or killed each other amongst themselves.
So why Shia Sunni Hate each other and kill each other?
