I take my hat off for you. In essence, all religions are the same; the source is the same - God - and the purpose is the same - peace, compassion, tolerance, love.

I pray to Allah we reach this point one day.

Religion is the set of accepted and formalized rituals that believers use to worship God. It is NOT designed at all for the believer to "become better". It is not a modern capitalist transaction: give this, get that. Religion often brings agony and suffering. It is not an avenue to happiness. It is about sacrifice and expending energy to God simply because He is worthy.

If you don't understand what religion is, then you can not accurately deduce from that what it can be ...

There isn't one "true" way for the whole world. God is big enough and powerful enough to answer the call when people pray to him, regardless of what name or face they picture when they do it.

I think different religions were in God's master plan. He knew the races and cultures would be diverse, so he planted seeds of various religions and installed prophets of each to lead people so that all people would have a chance to be drawn to him in a way that they can understand and feel.

Clearly a lot of people have a different definition of 'better'. Terrorist groups are doing in their mind what is 'better', as are people who volunteer time to help with the AIDS crisis in Africa.

So we must first come up with a solid definition of 'better' because everyone doing what they see as 'better' is problematic.

So how can we establish what 'better' is? That is the question we should ask.

I believe there will be some people from all religions in Heaven, I'm not saying all people go to Heaven . And if we can't learn to worship with them down here on earth then we wont be the one to worship with them in Heaven.

Because many religions teach intolerance unconsciously. And many teach about the need to convert others to one way.

Honestly then, can't we all just try to get along in the spirituality section?
