Clearly when the top dog, or boss, or politician, or leader of any organised (English spelling) makes an significant error of judgement, prudence would dictate that standing down is the appropriate action to take.
Although the Pope’s recent action was nothing more than to make a quote from history, commonsense and logic would dictate that he made a significant error of judgement in a volatile world fuelled by religious hatred.
Why not apologise and stand down, in the interests of world stability and peace?
