I understand why Muslims are upset, but why do you really concern yourself with the Pope if you do not approve of him or respect him?

Yeah, I have a lot of respect for an opponent of birth control. The misery that doctrine alone has caused in the world is incalculable. So how can you ask why that would not be a concern? All those unwanted children. And God help you (irony intended) if you're born a baby girl in China to the wrong parents. Why WOULDN'T any sane person be concerned over such a medieval philosophy foisted upon millions of people by some psycho in a pointed cap? The road to hell is paved with good intentions (and I use the word hell merely as a figure of speech). Imagine if everybody could just agree on a simple truth, that Allah or Jehovah (the main gods du jour) are not real. We'd just have to find some other excuse to kill people.

As for Peter's successor, I have no idea what you're talking about. He's not the Dalai Lama, for chrissake.
