Islam is not even close to being the fastest growing religion by conversion. They just have a lot of kids.

let me support ur statement with factual stats, infact i will appreciate it, if u put it in ur additional details.
In a Reader Digest Survey in 1985, they determined the Fastest Growing Religion all over in the period of 50 yrs (1934-1984). What they determined was that, Islam was The Most Spreading at a rate of 235%, whereas Christianity that was second was spreading at the rate 47%.
Now, there is a speculation that after 911 Conversion to Islam has boomed, as it has caused ppl to be curious abt Islam, and find abt this Religion of the so-called 'terrorists', and when ppl comes to know of Islam, they come to know that it is in True Essence The Religion of Peace, Love, Harmony, Humanity & Promote Universal Brotherhood. well Actually, Only ALLAH (GOD) knows what has been the latest rate of conversion going on esp. after 911, but if someone finds any research than Do tell me abt it. Peace to All.
P.S. ...... Stats for those who claim that Islam degrades women ........ of all the conversion to Islam going on in the western community (including america, europe), Two-Thirds (2/3) of those convertees are women. Go figure !!! if Islam degrades women why is it so many women converting to Islam. actually, 'coz they know that Islam elevates the status of women to equality with that of the men, and as for a fact Islam is the 1st civilized society to have put women equal to men, when women were considered to be either a property of men, or atleast lesser than men in civilized societies before Islam.

no it isn't, most westerners who convert to Islam drop out after a period of 2 years or so. the fastest growing religion in the world is agnosticism or indifference. i only know one person who converted to Islam and is now wavering, he can do this in the west, he couldn't in a Muslim country. most westerners will reject Islam as it conflicts with the deeply held cultural beliefs in individual freedom and popular political participation. these are not superficial beliefs, but are in built and implicit in western society, pre-dating even their expression in the democracy ancient Athens. it is part of us that cannot be shaken out of us. there will always be some individual westerners who Will be attracted to fringe religions, such as hare krisna and the moonies, western converts to Islam are probably the same type of people. Islam will never be accepted by the vast majority of westerners, it will have to be imposed by force as it was originally in the middle east.

it's a real fact... people should notify this fact!!! y islam become the fastest growing religion... because islam is for everyone... any person who know islam will know how beautiful n attractive islam is.... islam is not only our worship to Allah but also contain the lifestyle... even in marriage, financial,dietary.... EVERYTHING... islam promoted peace not war... n islam is the true religion... that's y it can be accepted by so many people..

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be up on Him) as revealed before on Prophets Moses (Mosa), Jesus (Isa) and other Prophets (Peace be up on them all). But now only 100% purely existing religion in this world is Islam! And only purely 100% existing revelation is Holy Qur'an All other revelations are corrupted! The only true God Allah-almighty/our creator/the creator of universe says in Qur'an (V51: 56) that "And I (Allah) created not the Jinn and Mankind except that they should worship Me (Allah alone)".

Because Islam is a religion of peace.! Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy, and forgiveness, and the majority have nothing to do with the extremely grave events which have come to be associated with their faith. Muslims are those who submit themselves to the will of Allah (God).

simple- because Muslims are being so hated, people want to know y
they want to know the REAL truth, not the one the media conveys because they are paid to put down Muslims
and they search and find something that no tv or news report EVER will - because theyre like middle school girls
they talk about a group of people because they like gossip
the truth is people like to gossip
and almost everyone does it - to the unconcious degree
so i think we all know why Islam is growing so fast, just not all of us want to admit it

perhaps because it is a newer religion and with modern day technology and transportation, ideologies are easily transmitted?
before people had to jump on a horse and try and convert people.. now we have the printing press and airplanes..

Islam is one of the three western religions but only one that respects and believes in the other two as true religions of their times and from ONE and the same GOD.
Islam provides complete guidance, justice and equality. In Islam people find truth consistence with nature and peace of mind in prayers that no drug can provide.
Quran is a living miracle. It neither changes nor becomes irrelevant in face of advancing science and technology. Galileo would have never been put in house arrest had they studied astronomical facts in the Quran. Along with moral and ethical guidance, Quran has scientific information on numerous disciples of science. Islam provides answers to all of life's important questions like purpose of life, life after death, other forms of life here and elsewhere, etc.
Islam teaches unity of the main message among all revealed faiths; believe in ONE God and follow the prophet of the time.
Unitarian Christians still believe in ONE God (not trinity). "…Their believe system is structured around "following the religion OF Jesus, not a religion ABOUT Jesus". They do not "pray to Jesus", but to God, as Jesus taught." (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). Ahmed Deedat, during an open debate, with Jimmy Swagart (before Jimmy's disgraceful fall from fame and fortune) challenged him to show him one verse from Bible where Jesus may have said "I AM GOD and WORSHIP ME" and he would bow down to Jesus. Obviously, Jimmy was not able to because Jesus would have never lied.
All of the three revealed religions claim same hereditary root of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him). Israelite prophets like Moses, David, Joseph, and Jesus, etc. (peace be upon them all) from the stem of Isaac and Arabs and the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from the stem of Ishmael. Isaac and Ishmael were sons of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon them)
Moses and Jesus (Peace be upon them) prophesied the coming of Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a true prophet who would speak the truth and guide the mankind.

Jews who know the prophecies but don't accept Muhammad (Peace be upon him) as the prophet, never the less, are still waiting for 'THAT' prophet (obviously from the Isaac side of the hereditary tree). Christians who know the prophecies but don't accept Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the prophet, think, that, the prophecies mentioned by Jesus are for a Spirit not a person or human being.
Many priests and regular Christians and Jews with knowledge of their books and unbiased opinion have accepted Islam as the true religion. One of those priests was a former Reverend David Benjamin Keldani, B.D. of the Roman Catholic of the Uniate-Chaldean Sect. later known as Abdu'l-Ahad Dawud. He wrote a book on Muhammad in the Bible.
Islam is a complete religion and the Holy Book (Quran) is preserved in the original language (translation available in many languages) and in perpetual memory of millions of Muslims through generations so those who wish to know God's words, God's message, God's Guidance can find it through out the ages. Accounts of the life of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), what he said, what he did, how he lived his life, which provides a guided example, is available separate from the Quran.
The name Islam was chosen by God which means Peace (on earth).
