We have a pastor who has told the church that he is an apostle and has used churc money to take his wife with him on trips that the church pays for. He has been paid over $4,000 per year over what his salary is was voted by the church. Has surronded himself with persons unable to move the church forward and lack knowledge of laws. We are a 501 C and he has meetings that he calls to talk about himself and what he will do and members are not allowed to talk or they will be called devils. We are a small low income community, but our church has lost over half it's members. We need help.

Religions are groups of individuals that have found common ground in their beliefs-Yesterday OUR Christian President Bush said-The US is addicted to foreign oil-BECAUSE HE has placed the economy of The US into the hands of oil industry and if you don't think so ask DICK CHENNY-what Haliburton gains from this dependency! So to make this statement also is to suggest that AMERICA IS ADDICTED TO FOSSIL FUELS-which means we are addicted to THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT-Pollution-Ozone depletion-and non biodegradeable plastics. Now this is fine if you are religious because you have somewhere better to go to after the world is destroyed by this incessant corrupted abuse of NATURE. THE ROADS OF OUR GOLDEN GODS HEAVEN! And with this "I AM SAVED" attitude The religious right will continue to abuse the resources-continue to be fruitful and multiply and their continual abuse will mean THEIR CHILDREN-GODS CHOSEN CHILDREN will have to suffer for conservation-which will then solicit WAR-Destruction &THE END

I don't understand. What enjoyment can there possibly be in mocking God? Does it make people feel better about themselves? Does it make people sleep better at night? Can that really be someone's biggest thrill in life?

Believers VS Unbelievers in the courtroom
The case can also be about if Jesus really lived or not
Or
If Jesus was really supernatural or did he become a legend later although he was a normal person

I mean, not only about "if he was telling the truth or not"
All the possibilities can be claimed and taken into consideration in the court

A day consists of a period of time as measured by a revolving globe-as several planets have this capacity as is directed by their location to the STAR we call the Sun-their gravitational pull vs Our Stars' and Magnetic fields. Now all of these relate to celestial conditioning as we have discovered that Our Milky Way Galaxy also revolves-as we have witnessed as do many others-So that Galaxy revolution is not depicted as 1 revolution = a day-No-The Bible specifically described DAYS by the 24 hr rotation on Earth-but the first thing a Protectionist will point out is that GODs TIME is not like ours-openly admitting that-GOD IS CONSTRAINED BY TIME! He had to take time to make time-AN IMPOSSIBILITY-TIME is a forward progression and is relevent to destiny-otherwise God could reverse TIME and stop SATAN from his fall and lead his creation toward the path of righteousness. OH BUT WHY WOULD GOD DO THAT-You Have a choice-I CHALLENGE GODS love-& yours to say "He is love" if he BURNS SATAN instead

Can anybody tell me why God (in the christian sense) gave us free will and then wrote the ten commandments? Why give us free will and then tell us there are certain things we 'can't' do? This is why i'm a Buddhist lol

It would seem that Muslims (mainly in the middle east) will always find a reason for conflict, almost as though, without it, they feel lost. If it's not with the USA and the West or Israel or the Kurds it's with THEMSELVES!! - Iran v Iraq, Iraq v Kuwait, Sunni's v Shi'ite's, Hamas v Fatah, Taliban v Northern Alliance, Jordan persecuting palestinians, Civil war in Lebanon, Indonesia persecuting Aceh & Timor and the list goes on and on!! WHY???

He put me on a diet of honey and locusts. Mind you that locust have a great animo acid profile but taste terrible and don't mix well in a blender. I felt the honey spiked my insulin levels and found myself tired 20 minutes into a workout.

His training methods were archaic and Aramaic. Personal savior, personal trainer, I'm not satisfied with either. Should I pay him?

muslim doesnt permit its followers to have sex outside wedlock for various social and health reason (AIDS, social problem) how about catholic (and other christians like protestant, anglican, etc).

from what i see in most catholic countries like brasil and the philippines there's social problem where married and unmarried people happily live together under the same roof without getting married then after they feel dissatisfied they change partner (bf and gf).

some may gave reasons like "this is my right to choose my life partner because i'm going to live with him for the rest of my life" or "if he/she bad at bed we're not going to have a happy life so it's better to discover her/him first rather than regret later".

are you going to marry someone who slept with 10 boyfriends/girlfriends before you?

this is not a provocative question i just want to know other people's opinion

I'm not an atheist but neither do I belong to any religion at the moment. I believe atheists have as much right as theists to answer in this section because it is not just a religion section it is a spirituality section. They have a right to discuss their spirituality(or lack thereof) too. Just want people's ideas, don't want pointless arguements. Thanks!
