It would seem that Muslims (mainly in the middle east) will always find a reason for conflict, almost as though, without it, they feel lost. If it's not with the USA and the West or Israel or the Kurds it's with THEMSELVES!! - Iran v Iraq, Iraq v Kuwait, Sunni's v Shi'ite's, Hamas v Fatah, Taliban v Northern Alliance, Jordan persecuting palestinians, Civil war in Lebanon, Indonesia persecuting Aceh & Timor and the list goes on and on!! WHY???

they aren't.
i watched this documentary on the discovey time channel called Roots of 911. (if you have comcast its on demand under the news/world section.)
it investigated how many muslim people/country view the US, and how the history and economy of these muslim countries relate to thier views.
actually...I just went to look up the movie and this was the synopsis:
What drove 19 young, middle-class Muslim men to give up their lives to murder almost 3,000 people? Join Thomas L. Friedman as he searches for answers deep in the Middle East, where the contradictory feelings of so many Muslims are laid bare: deep admiration for America's freedom and standard of living, combined with profound anger at what they see as our arrogant behavior in that part of the world. As democracy begins to seep into the Arab world, learn how the most profound effects of September 11 may be felt – not in America – but in Osama bin Laden's backyard.

I think you and jews should be deported to mars or maybe thrown in to the space to make the whole world saferNo one may fully judge a religion before knowing and studying its true meaning. All u people r just brainwashed! don't u pea brains c Wat they do with the poor Palestinians?Ever wonder who gets killed everyday for no reason? and recently they attacked and killed hundreds of Innocent Lebanese for no reason. At least u should have been neutral in this case but Ur thoughts are totally biased against Muslims Ur not realistic. A single or few people are not representing Islam. The Qur'an is fully represnting Islam. Muslims hate u people far more than u do because of Ur such thoughts against us and Ur Pharaoh Presidents policies. u people and ur media r creating more hatred. Do u have any Justification for Wat happened in Abu Ghuraib Jail in Iraq and wats happening in Guantanamo bay? u people call urself civilized but ur not.
AS YOU SOW SO SHALL YOU REAP

For the same reason Christians are always involved in war and conflict. Religion is a kind of sport, and Christians have lots of aggression there to be released against Muslims, pro-choice, gay rights, progressives, pagans, separation of church and state, etc.
"I know you are Christian, but what are you Christian against?" - one of my favorite quotes on the subject.

You're a moron. This country (the US) has been involved in conflict since it's inception, up to the current day. Answer the question why, and you'll probably have the answer to the question you've asked.
Here's a hint: It's always the OTHER guys fault.

its seems you havent done much reading! conflicts had mostly been brought on to them (arabs) by other nations...especially in the past 100 years. starting from the 1st world war by the brits, french and italians. then, ottomans. then, the americans by planning coups, revolutions, revolts and most recent by allowing/planning sadams invation of kuwait, and iraqs 2003 invation. last but not least, israel's attack on lebanon. arabs do not want any conflicts. all they want is to be left a lone to live as they wish.

Because they live and die by their religions.
Three major religions all claim the same exact spot as their Holy Land. Until they can agree who will rightfully own it, (which will never happen), there will be political and religious (pretty much the same thing in the Middle East) unrest.
