Add on: Some of you think that i do not give to God. I tithe all of the time. I give offerings as instructed in Malachi 3. I just wonder about some ministers of the "gospel" who make claims that God will bless them in many ways if thjey give more than the tithe and offering required in the bible.

There is one guy who tells people about a $58 seed blessing. He claims, "sow" the $58 into his or some ministry and count off about 58 days and document the blessings that God brings into your life.

I just think a lot of it is a scam.

We are not to give to get. Yet they make the claim that we will get rich or so.

Let me clarify a few things about mormons.
1. Yes, they are Christians.
2. No, they do NOT practise polygamy(having more than one wife)
3. They do not worship Joseph Smith, but they do believe he is a prophet
4. NO, they do NOT worship the devil
5. They DO believe in almost everything other christian churches teach-the bible, praying, faith, being Christ-like

Some try to make them all the same. That is soo nieve and elementary. There is such a great difference between Christianity other faiths. All one has to do is focus on what the Bible teaches about Jesus compared to what other religions teach about Jesus. Without Jesus, his historicity, virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection and assension to heaven there is no hristianity. So, when others try to take that out of Christian just so everyone can agree they are destroying Christianity so that other religions can stand. That is very discriminitory against Christianity.

For any one who thinks that Islam isnt a enemy of civilisation and peace.
An attack in Jordan yesterday , which killed one British man and wounded five other Westerners, including Australian Ashlea Blair and a New Zealander. A Jordanian tourist police officer was also wounded.the gunman sprayed them with bullets as he shouted "Allahu akbar," or God is great.
The Mujahideen Shura Council in Iraq, which claimed responsibility for several kidnappings of foreigners in Iraq, urged Muslim youth to follow the gunman's steps.
It said the attack was launched on an "unblessed gathering of Jews and Christians for roaming freely in the countries of Islam".
The group's Arabic message praised Arab women for giving birth to "heroes," including the assailant and Saudi-born al-Qaeda boss Osama bin Laden.
"We congratulate this lion cub for his action and we tell him: 'May God never hinder your right hand and accept your work'," the statement added. Many Arabs use the word lion cub to describe young

I find this excuse offensive as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse? Does anyone else feel this way? I feel we are responsible for our own actions and how we handle things.

I started my period at school today and it bled through my pants. Everyone saw it and started making fun of me. The words "they're all going to laugh at you" kept echoing over and over in my head. I am so embarrassed and do not know how I will ever show my face in school again. Please help!! Is God mad at me? I feel so unclean and saturated with sin.

Other celebrities I have liked have died, and it hasn't bothered me anywhere nearly as bad as Steve's death is bothering me. It really makes me so sad. I think it might be because he was so brimming with life, and so appreciative of life, that it seems cruel that his life should be cut so short.

Does anyone else feel the way I do?

Gargamel(a warlock) and Papa Smurf both made potions and magic. When I was a kid my brother and I watched Smurfs every Saturday and have grown up to be active and faithful members of our churchs (despite not being raised in church as kids). So why do you get so upset/worried about Harry Potter? (yes I have seen the movies, my children have not, they are too young)

Okay ... here's what I'm looking for, I'm a Christian, but what I'm looking for is something to draw us all together. What is the one main thing that you believe in (the one that comes from your heart), please, no versuses, 'fact', etc etc, ... just the simple why you believe in your belief ... like I said, please, no versuses, or any religion bashing ... we all have enough to deal with ... lets start learning from each other ... if you want to know my point of view ... email me :) ... but here ... we are all trying to learn ... no religion bashing or anything like that ... I just want to know what you believe and why ... actions speak louder than words :) Don't speak negative about someone else please ... ruins the fun of the argument (and yes ... I love to argue), just tell me what you believe in ... simple ... good luck

Just wondering how Christians view Agnostic people. There are different definitons and views of being Agnostic from certin people. This is the one I'm talking about:

-Someone who has a hard time beliving in a 'higher power', Christianity in this case, and some things that go along with that (Rebirth, afterlife, ect.)
-Someone who isn't exactly athiest either.

No need to be harsh though...

I asked about why these clinics are not PROTESTED against. Actions speak louder than words. Some people have said that they're against fertility clinics, but I've never heard of them being picketed. Why the words and no actions?

Also, abortions are, by and large, performed by OBGYN's who use their offices to deliver babies and conduct pre-natal checkups. Even Planned Parenthood provides healthcare to pregnant women who want to keep their babies. I think we can agree that these are good things. So you don't get off the hook by saying that fertility clinics do some good as well as bad, so that's why they aren't protested against.

I appreciate the few prolifers who were willing to share their feelings about fertility clinics, but so far no one has addressed the core issue:

why one standard for fertility clinics and another for "abortion clinics"?

not trying to be a jerk... I just want an answer
