SIPPING VODKA
This is too funny - I still have tears in my eyes! Finally, a chain letter that I don't mind forwarding.
It's funny (don't break chain)

A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak.
After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done.
The monsignor replied, " When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip."
So next Sunday he took the monsignor's advice.
At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink.
He proceeded to talk up a storm.
Upon his return to his office after the mass, he found the following note on the door:
1) Sip the vodka, don't gulp.
2)There are 10 commandments, not 12.
3)There are 12 disciples, not 10.
4)Jesus was consecrated, not constipated.
5)Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet his ***.
6)We do not refer to Jesus Christ as the late J.C.
7)The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not referred to as Daddy, Junior and the spook.
8)David slew Goliath, he did not kick the sh*t out of him.
9)When David was hit by a rock and was knocked off his donkey, don't say he was stoned off his ***.
10)We do not refer to the cross as the "Big T."
11)When Jesus broke the bread at the last supper he said, "take this and eat it for it is my body." He did not say " Eat me" .
12)The Virgin Mary is not called " Mary with the Cherry,.
13)The recommended grace before a meal is not: Rub-A-Dub-Dub thanks for the grub, Yeah God.
14)Next Sunday there will be a taffy pulling contest at ST.Peter's not a peter pulling contest at St. Taffy's.

You know all that stuff about the poor inheriting the earth, the eye of the needle and so forth. It sounds good, at least if you are poor. But JC left open the door of heaven to the rich who were prepared to sell everything they owned and give the money to the poor. But, the poor given the money will no longer be poor, and therefore they won't qualify. Moreover, god will give plenty of unmistakable signs when the waste is about to hit the fan, so the rich can sell out just before the final curtain drops. So the poor not only don't get everlasting life, they don't get much of a chance to spend the money. Sounds to me like the poor get shafted again.

Instead of taking responsiblity for ones actions, it's easier to say "The Devil made him do it" That is the easy way out.

Similar to saying "God works in mysterious ways"

iam a Christian and am adimately against the death penalty. Why would you want to deny someoen the ability to accept Christ as theri savior?? if you have a belief that God loves everyone, than wouldn't he love them just as much as he loves you...? We are all sinners aren't we, none greater than the next? Why is it so many Christians ( especially is government) openly support the death penalty? This is very disturbing to me, I would love to hear some intelligent rationale please!!

I started to read the Bible just a little ea day & some days I missed but I finished the 2nd gospel. I read what our Lord God Jesus said the 2nd commandment of God was. Well it of course doens't just apply to our neighbors but it applies to our fellow man in general. One of my comments to one of my ?'s was "why would I care what you all say since I don't know you". Well the thing is you all are my brothers & my sisters. I must do my best to love all of you in order for me to make it into the Kingdom of Heaven at the end of the age. People that choose not to believe if they would look at the Bible, God's words/commandments and our Lord Jesus Christ teachings they would see how it really does all fit together; how it really does all make sense. Christianity has been twisted around throughout the centuries & still today by people who don't understand the weightier (a word Jesus used) issues meaning whats in your heart & how you treat your fellow man is what matters the most.

i wrote a question earlier about jesus and went to work, when i got home i had an email telling me that it had been erased cause it was inappropriate. i can't beleive how far our nation has slipped. i know the muslim questions won't be erased because it wouldn't be "P.C.". seperation of church and state was set up to keep the state out of the churches buisness, not the other way around. this is why the wrath of God is brewing and the ungodly will be spewed out of his mouth.
i just want all of you who post evil things against God, to know that you are light weights. he has converted far worse people than you. some of you better get ready cause he has his eyes on you. it wont be too long before your praising his name along with me. i pray for you all that none of you will be left behind.

All that jazz about the miners recording voices from Hell when they drilled into it, and stuff like that. But if Hell really was at the center of the Earth and a natural disaster occured, like planets colliding or Earth being sucked into a black hole, and Earth consequently being destroyed completely off the map then what would happen to Hell?
