The earth was created for man's home and Satan tried to ruin it.
All through the bible it says that the dead are conscience of nothing at all. Eccl. 9:5
The wages of sin is death. and many more like that.
Psalms 37:19,10,11 tells that the wicked will be destroyed and the righteous will live forever upon the earth. Jesus must have felt the same way because he was quoting from the verse when he said, The meek will inherit the earth.
He gave Adam and Eve a choice life or death.
then told what dead was: For dust your are and to dust you will return.
why should anyone be allowed to leave this earth and take his hate somewhere else. Since all the waring people believe they are going to heaven. If they did then this earth would be a wonderful place to live. Not Jew but I don't believe in people from earth as a heavenly hope or in hell. There only chance is to live forever on a paradise earth. Do you know the American Indians belief in a paradise earth also. They do not believe in hell.
But dead as a reward for badness.

You shouldn't believe something just because someone tells you or you read it somewhere. If I were you, I would investigate a little further before I accept that.
Although I can't say for sure because I haven't checked it out myself, I'm thinking that Jews do believe in an immortal soul, and most likely heaven and hell. Of course, not all Jews believe the same way..
Interesting question. I will look it up for myself when I get the time.

No, you are not the only person. Most Christians have no idea that the majority of their Christian beliefs come from Greek paganism. Judaism has almost nothing in common with Christianity except that Christianity claims the same holy books.

Actually Jesus said in the scriptures that he was from his Father in heaven and they (the jews) were of their father the devil. Read it. Sorry but there are a lot of folks that don't know just like you didn't.

no- there are many people that misunderstand or are unaware of many aspects of many faiths.
you might want to get a book on faith, one that describes each one in a little detail, to learn more about the various religions of the world.

Don't worry - many people are ignorant of religions other than their own. That's why you should always learn about everyone else's point of view.
