These statements are clear and they are correct! I am not going into all these details about whether they are right, but these are the myths that people get so confused about! The polygamists in Utah have been excommunicated-they aren't part of the Church anymore.

Don't cast your pearls before swine.

For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

I know that Mormons do not practice polygamy anymore and that the people who were recently arrested for it are not part of the mainstream Mormon LDS church. However the mainstream LDS still believes that there will be polygamy in the afterlife.

From my understanding, one of the core beliefs is that "Man is as God once was." So by this avenue of thought, A person can one day, themselves be "deified." I do not want to trample on any religion because all are sacred to the followers. NOT TO MENTION, the people that I have known in my life that are Mormon are really good people with strong family beliefs and connections. Whether it is a good or bad religion is irrelevant as I have no right to judge any other person or their faith. I see what I have seen--right or wrong--good people.

The truth as I see it, my personal findings, and perspectives as true as I can be.

The Mormons are good regular people.
They are well organized in teaching and their whole system.
God does work in their Church.
They do only have one wife, now a days.

There is a lot of good and bad documented about Joesph Smith.

But... I do believe that even though this Mormon Church prophet may of been false that God does work in this Church, good can prophet out of bad as long as there is God believers in the Church.
All churches and religions are not perfect, and God knows this, so God works through these types of things as long as there is true believers..... that's the main thing:)

4. yes and no, some believe that everything is a act of worship, and if it is not worship the true God, who is a trinity and there is only one. then it is making the devil happy... but that is deffinatly not their intent.

1. No they are not.
2. Some do
3. Joseph Smith is a false prophet and the Book of Mormon a false gospel
4. Mormons believe satan is the spirit brother of Jesus
5. Mormonism is counterfeit Chrisitanity. Mormons are very nice people who worship a Jesus that is not the biblical Jesus, believe in a false prophet, and hold up their Book of Mormon as being more reliable than the bible.

'nuff said.

You need to do some further study and learn the truth about Joseph Smith, Oliver Crowley, and the crazyness of your church. Read the book, "Is Mormonism Christian?" with an open mind, if your not afraid you'll poison yourself.

You really ought to go to your public library and check out the true history of this "religion" instead of just parroting the 'party line'. This religion has committed atrocities of a grand scale, including massacre of innocent men women and children. Joseph Smith was a con man and a charlatan long before he hit upon the idea to create a 'church'. Look into it. You will be amazed! He started out conning people he could mysteriously find gold on their property by gazing into a 'peek stone', and was run out of town more than once by the outraged people he conned.

Do they believe in this?

11Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practice righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.

12Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.

13*I* [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.

14Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.

15Without [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.

16*I* Jesus have sent mine angel to testify these things to you in the assemblies. *I* am the root and offspring of David, the bright [and] morning star.

17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come; he that will, let him take [the] water of life freely.
