We have heard so much about Buhdda found enlightenment under the Bohdi tree, but what exactly is Enlightenment? Could anyone enlighten me ?

I've been practicing, but the last time it happened, I got scared and came back to my body. How can I keep my fears and negativity away so that I can successfully cruise the astral planes without seeing creepy sh*t?

So I was walking into work the other night when I saw an empty Big Mac box on top of a hedge. In a random moment of kindness, I picked it up to put it in a bin which was only a few feet away. As I did so, a snail which had been hiding under the Big Mac box fell off of it and landed just where I was about to put my foot (as I was in mid stride), causing me to step on it and kill it.
What kinda crap is that?! I try and do a good deed and end up killing a snail? What a rip off. What would a Buddhist make of this?

There are some numerical discrepancies in the Qur'an:

ONE: 39:73, 41:30 [the Garden], 57:21 [a Garden], 79:41 [the Garden], or
MANY: 18:31, 22:23, 35:33, 78:32 [each time: "Gardens"]?

The plural "Gardens" has to refer to at least three because if it/they were two, then the Arabic would use the dual form of the noun. Therefore this is a discrepancy of at least 200% from "one" to "several".

and if "the garden" is "a garden" consisting of many "gardens" each of which can be referenced as "a garden". ..then why can't you beleive that there are 3 parts of God...Jesus, Holy Spririt, God...that is three...but Christians say that is one...

I've always known he was quite spiritual, as is apparent in many of his songs, in fact, he usually has at least one spiritual song on each record or cd. For example, The Cross, Looking for the Ladder, Beautiful, Loved, Blessed, etc...I knew he was Christian by his works, but I didn't hear of him being JW until he married Manuella.

tell me something God has blessed you with that is a true blessing from god and i will start by saying that i had a preacher hand me his check book and tell me to write out a check to pay off my house but i knew i could not do that so he took and wrote me a check that paid off my car and my house!!! Every sunday i have to go to church, this is so eversince.
I usd to talk to Jesus and sometimes to God before i sleep, but last year i am doing this less and less because I am beginning to ask myself questions , the most important is that I dont undestand why God let his son get killed just because for carrying our sins. If god can make a Universe and all th things in it , then why cant he just forgive my sins without letting his only son get killed ? I dont understand that
